5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

1. Connect the magnetic charging cable to the charging port on the side of the mug's base.
2. Plug the USB-C end of the cable into the provided wall adapter, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
3. The LED indicators on the mug's base will show charging status. Charge fully before first use.

5.2 App Pairing (Optional)

1. Download the "SG Mug" app from your device's app store (Google Play or Apple App Store).
2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
3. Press and hold the power button on the bottom of the mug for 3 seconds to turn it on. The mug will display "HELLO".
4. Open the "SG Mug" app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your mug. The app will display "BT" on the mug's screen upon successful connection.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Manual Control

1. Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button on the bottom of the mug for 3 seconds. The mug will display "HELLO" when turning on and "BYE" when turning off.
2. Adjust Temperature: Use the left (<) and right (>) arrow buttons on the mug's base to adjust the target temperature. Each press changes the temperature by 5°F.
3. Pause/Resume Heating: Press the pause (||) button to temporarily stop or resume heating.
4. The mug offers three preset temperature levels: Warm (130°F), Hot (140°F), and Piping Hot (150°F).

1. Once paired, open the "SG Mug" app on your smartphone.
2. Set Target Temperature: Use the slider in the app to set your desired temperature between 120°F and 160°F, with 1°F precision.
3. Use Presets: Select from predefined temperature presets for various beverages (e.g., Coffee 140°F, Tea 125°F, Cappuccino 131°F, Warm 120°F, Extra Hot 160°F).
4. Set Timer: Utilize the timer function to heat your beverage for a specific duration (e.g., Herbal Tea 6:00, Green Tea 3:00, Black Tea 5:00).
5. Press the "Start" button in the app to begin heating.
