Setup

1. Battery Installation

2. SD Card Installation

The camcorder supports SD/SDHC cards up to 256GB. A 64GB SD card is included.

  1. Locate the SD card slot, typically near the battery compartment.
  2. Insert the SD card with the metal contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.
  4. Important: Format the SD card before first use with the camcorder. This can be done through the camera's menu settings.

3. Charging the Battery

Use the provided charging cradle and Type-C data cable to charge the NP-40 Lithium Batteries.

  1. Place the battery into the charging cradle.
  2. Connect the Type-C data cable to the charging cradle and a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
  3. The indicator light on the charging cradle will show the charging status.
  4. The camcorder can also be used while charging via the Type-C port.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the Power/OK/Light button.
  • To power off, press and hold the Power/OK/Light button again until the screen turns off.

2. Basic Recording and Photo Capture

  • Switching Modes: Press the Mode button to cycle between Video, Photo, and Playback modes.
  • Video Recording: In Video mode, press the Rec/Stop button to start recording. Press it again to stop.
  • Photo Capture: In Photo mode, press the Photo Shutter button to take a picture.
  • Playback: In Playback mode, use the UP/Down buttons or the touch screen to navigate through your recorded videos and photos.

3. Advanced Features

3.1. Wi-Fi Connectivity

The camcorder supports Wi-Fi for real-time image and video transmission to your smartphone or tablet.

  1. Download the "Hello Cam" APP from Google Play Store or Apple App Store. You can scan the QR code below or visit https://qr04.cn/B9lhOx.
  2. Enable Wi-Fi on your camcorder through the menu settings.
  3. Connect your smartphone/tablet to the camcorder's Wi-Fi network (SSID and password will be displayed on the camcorder screen).
  4. Open the "Hello Cam" APP to control the camcorder remotely, view live feed, and transfer files.

3.2. Webcam Function

The camcorder can be used as a webcam for video calls and live streaming.

  • Connect the camcorder to your computer using the provided Type-C data cable.
  • Select "PC Camera" mode on the camcorder's screen when prompted.
  • Your computer should recognize the camcorder as a webcam. Select it in your video conferencing or streaming software.

3.3. IR Night Vision

The IR Night Vision function allows for clear recording in low-light conditions, producing black and white footage.

  • Activate IR Night Vision through the camcorder's menu settings or a dedicated button (if available).

3.4. Digital Zoom

4. Connecting to an HDTV

You can connect the camcorder to an HDTV or monitor using an HDMI cable (not included) to view your recordings on a larger screen.

  • Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the camcorder's HDMI output interface.
