4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Planning the Installation

  • Choose a suitable location for the outdoor unit, typically near your front door, at a height that allows visitors' faces to be clearly captured by the camera.
  • Select a convenient indoor location for the monitor unit, such as a hallway or living room, where it is easily accessible.
  • Ensure both units are within effective wireless range of each other.

4.2. Outdoor Unit Installation

  1. Mark the desired mounting holes on the wall using the outdoor unit's mounting bracket as a template.
  2. Drill holes at the marked positions.
  3. Insert wall plugs into the drilled holes.
  4. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws.
  5. Attach the outdoor doorbell unit to the mounting bracket.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Receiving a Call

  • When a visitor presses the doorbell button on the outdoor unit, the indoor monitor will ring and display the visitor's image on the 3.5-inch IPS screen.
  • To answer the call, pick up the handset on the indoor monitor.
  • To end the call, place the handset back on the monitor.

5.2. Two-Way Intercom

Once the call is answered, you can engage in two-way communication with the visitor. Speak into the handset and listen for their response through the monitor's speaker.

5.3. Night Vision

The outdoor unit is equipped with infrared night vision. In low-light conditions, the camera will automatically switch to night vision mode, providing clear black and white images of visitors.
