Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your JOMISE A80 Dash Cam.
1. Prepare for Installation
- Clean the windshield area where the dash cam will be mounted.
- Ensure the engine is off before beginning installation.
2. Install the Front Dash Cam
- Attach the suction cup mount to the front dash cam.
- Mount the dash cam on the windshield, preferably behind the rearview mirror, ensuring it does not obstruct your view.
- Adjust the camera angle to capture the road ahead clearly.
3. Install the Rear Camera
- Connect the rear camera cable to the main dash cam unit.
- Route the rear camera cable discreetly along the headliner and pillar trim to the rear of the vehicle.
- Mount the rear camera on the rear windshield, ensuring a clear view.
- Adjust the rear camera angle as needed. The rear camera supports mirror and vertical flip options in settings.

4. Power Connection
- Connect the power supply cable to the dash cam.
- Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
- Route the power cable neatly to avoid interference with driving. Use the included cable clips and pry tool for a clean installation.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- Automatic: The dash cam will power on and begin recording automatically when your vehicle's engine starts.
- Manual: Press and hold the power button to manually turn the device on or off.
Recording
- Normal Recording: The dash cam records continuously in a loop. When the memory card is full, the oldest unlocked files are overwritten.
- Emergency Recording: The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions and automatically locks the current video segment to prevent it from being overwritten.
Menu Navigation
- Use the 3.2-inch touchscreen to navigate through menus and settings.
- Alternatively, use the physical buttons on the device for navigation and selection.
Using the Companion App (Wi-Fi)
- Download the dedicated JOMISE app on your smartphone.
- Enable Wi-Fi on the dash cam and connect your phone to the dash cam's Wi-Fi network.
- Through the app, you can view live footage, playback recorded videos, download files to your phone, and adjust settings.

Settings

Troubleshooting
