4. Operating Instructions
The Alien001 Mini Dirt Bike is designed for ease of use with its fully automatic transmission. It does not have gears, making it suitable for beginners.
4.1 Fueling the Dirt Bike
This is a 2-stroke engine and requires a specific fuel mixture. Use a 25:1 ratio of gasoline to 2-stroke oil. Always use fresh, high-quality gasoline and 2-stroke engine oil.
- Prepare the fuel mixture in a separate, approved container.
- Open the fuel tank cap located on top of the bike.
- Carefully pour the pre-mixed fuel into the tank.
- Securely close the fuel tank cap.
4.2 Starting the Engine
- Turn on the Ignition: Insert the key into the ignition switch (located near the fuel tank) and turn it to the 'ON' position.
- Open Fuel Valve: Locate the fuel valve (petcock) near the carburetor and turn it to the 'ON' position (usually to the side).
- Apply Choke (if cold): If the engine is cold, engage the choke lever (usually on the carburetor) to the 'ON' position. Return it to 'OFF' once the engine starts and warms up.
- Prime the Engine: Locate the primer bulb (if present) on the carburetor and press it a few times until fuel is visible.
- Pull Start: Firmly grasp the pull-start handle and pull it quickly and smoothly until the engine starts. Do not yank it forcefully.
- Throttle: The right handlebar grip controls the throttle. Twist it gently to accelerate.
- Brakes: The bike is equipped with front and rear disc brakes. The left lever controls the front brake, and the right lever controls the rear brake. Apply both brakes smoothly and evenly to slow down or stop.
- Kill Switch: The emergency kill switch is located on the handlebars. In case of an emergency or if the rider falls off, this switch will immediately cut power to the engine.
