4. Setup and Assembly

The Manora Compact Computer Desk is designed for straightforward assembly. All parts are labeled, and clear instructions are provided in the packaging. Please follow these general steps:

1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts and hardware listed in the instruction manual are present.
2. Assemble the Frame: Attach the metal frame components using the provided fasteners. Ensure the X-shape crossbars are correctly oriented for stability.
3. Attach the Desktop: Secure the engineered wood desktop to the assembled metal frame.
4. Install Drawers: Assemble the two drawers according to the instructions and install them into the desk's designated slots. Ensure smooth gliding.
5. Connect Power Unit: Integrate the built-in power outlet and USB unit into the desktop opening. Connect the power cord.

Important Note on Assembly: While assembly is designed to be straightforward with labeled parts and clear instructions, some users may find certain steps require careful attention. 5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using the Built-in Power Outlets and USB Ports

5.2 Using the Storage Drawers

The two smooth-gliding drawers provide convenient storage for your workspace essentials.

• Gently pull the drawer handles to open.
• Push firmly to close until the drawer is fully seated.
• Avoid overloading drawers to ensure smooth operation and prevent damage to the glides.

6. Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your Manora Compact Computer Desk.

• Cleaning: Wipe the desk surfaces with a dry, soft cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed immediately by a dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Spills: Immediately wipe up any spills to prevent damage to the engineered wood surface.
• Drawer Maintenance: Periodically check drawer glides for smooth operation. If they become stiff, a small amount of silicone lubricant can be applied.
• Fasteners: Occasionally check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Retighten as necessary.

7.1 Assembly Difficulties

• Device not charging: Check that your device's charging cable is properly connected to both the desk's port and your device. Try a different port or cable to rule out a faulty accessory.

7.3 Drawers Sticking or Not Closing Properly

• Obstruction: Check for any items inside the drawer or along the glides that might be blocking movement.
• Alignment: Ensure the drawer is properly seated on its glides. If the drawer was recently assembled, verify that the glides were installed correctly and are level.
• Overload: Reduce the weight or volume of items in the drawer.
