Filter Cleaning
The 6-stage cyclonic system includes washable filters (HEPA and foam). Regularly clean the filters to maintain optimal suction performance. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling.
- Remove the dust cup and then the filter assembly.
- Separate the foam and HEPA filters.
- Rinse both filters under running water until clean.
- Allow filters to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting.
Use the included cleaning brush to remove any stubborn debris from the dust cup and filter components.
Brushroll Maintenance
Periodically check the V-Flair Anti-Tangle Brushroll for any trapped hair or debris. While designed to minimize tangles, occasional cleaning may be necessary. Remove the brushroll from the floorhead and clear any obstructions.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Vacuum does not turn on. | Battery is not charged or not properly installed. | Ensure battery is fully charged and securely clicked into place. |
| Low suction power. | Dust cup is full, filters are clogged, or brushroll is obstructed. | Empty dust cup. Clean or replace filters. Clear any obstructions from brushroll and airduct. |
| Brushroll not spinning. | Obstruction in brushroll or floorhead. | Turn off vacuum and remove any hair or debris wrapped around the brushroll. Check for blockages in the floorhead. |
| Short battery runtime. | Battery not fully charged, or operating in Turbo Mode excessively. | Ensure battery is fully charged. Use Barefloor or Carpet mode for longer runtime. Consider a spare battery. |
| Error alerts on LED display. | Specific error code (e.g., E2 for brushroll, E3 for airduct). | Refer to the Quick Guide or contact customer service with the error code. Typically indicates a blockage. |
