2. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.

• Assembly Note: Do not tighten screws completely until all holes are aligned and all components are loosely assembled. This prevents misalignment and ensures proper fit.
• Ensure all bolts and fasteners are securely tightened before using the chaise lounge. Periodically check and re-tighten as necessary.
• Inspect all panels for any deformation upon arrival. If panels are slightly deformed due to shipping, carefully match all bolts with holes before tightening to ensure stability.
• Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 360 lbs (163 kg).
• Keep children and pets away from the assembly area. Small parts can be a choking hazard.
• Use the product on a flat, stable surface to prevent tipping.
• Avoid placing hot items directly on the rattan surface or cushion.
• Do not stand on the chaise lounge.

4. Assembly Instructions

Please follow these steps carefully. It is recommended to assemble the chaise lounge with two people.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
2. Assemble Frame: Connect the main frame sections using the provided bolts and washers. Insert all bolts loosely before tightening any of them.
3. Attach Backrest Mechanism: Secure the adjustable backrest mechanism to the main frame. Ensure the telescopic pull rod is correctly oriented.
4. Install Canopy: Attach the retractable canopy frame to the backrest mechanism. Ensure it moves smoothly.
5. Secure Coffee Table: Position and secure the built-in coffee table component.
6. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place and aligned, gradually tighten all bolts using the provided wrench. Do not overtighten.
7. Place Cushion: Position the sponge-padded seat cushion onto the lounge. Use the hook and loop fasteners to secure it in place and prevent sliding.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Adjusting the Backrest

The chaise lounge features an adjustable backrest with five different positions to suit your comfort needs. To adjust, lift the backrest slightly and then push or pull it to the desired angle. Ensure it locks securely into one of the five positions (approximately 13", 44.5", 47", 49", 50" in height from the ground).

5.2. Retracting the Canopy

The canopy is retractable, allowing you to adjust it for sun protection or open-air lounging. Gently push or pull the canopy frame to extend or retract it as needed. The canopy uses a high-quality telescopic pull rod for smooth operation.

5.3. Using the Built-in Coffee Table

A small, convenient coffee table is integrated into the side of the chaise lounge. This table can be flipped up or extended to hold beverages, books, or other small items. Ensure it is stable before placing items on it.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning the Frame and Rattan

Wipe the PE rattan and iron frame with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by rinsing with clean water and drying thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

6.2. Cleaning the Cushion Cover

The cushion cover is removable and washable. Unzip the cover, remove it from the sponge, and machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water. Air dry or tumble dry on low heat. Do not bleach or iron.

6.3. General Care

To prolong the life of your chaise lounge, it is recommended to cover it during prolonged periods of non-use or inclement weather. Periodically check all bolts and connections to ensure they remain tight.

7. Troubleshooting

• Issue: Canopy or backrest mechanism is stiff.
  Solution: Ensure no debris is obstructing the mechanism. Apply a silicone-based lubricant to moving parts if necessary, avoiding contact with fabric.
• Issue: Cushion slides off.
  Solution: Ensure the hook and loop fasteners on the underside of the cushion are properly attached to the lounge frame.
