1. Important Safety Instructions

  • Stability: Always install the anti-tip device provided to secure the unit to a wall. This prevents accidental tipping and potential injury, especially in households with children or pets.
  • Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum recommended weight capacity of 46 kg (101 lbs) for the entire unit. Distribute weight evenly across shelves.
  • Power Strip: The integrated power strip includes two AC outlets (100-120V) and two USB ports (5V, 2A). Do not overload the power strip. Ensure the power cord is not pinched or damaged. Avoid exposing the power strip to water or excessive moisture.
  • Placement: Place the unit on a flat, stable, and level surface. Use the adjustable feet to compensate for uneven floors.

3. Assembly Instructions (Setup)

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

  1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Lay out all components on a clean, soft surface. Refer to the parts list (not provided in this manual, typically found in a separate sheet) to identify each piece.
  2. Assemble Base Frame: Connect the steel frame components for the base cabinet using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure.
  3. Attach Cabinet Panels: Secure the side, back, and bottom panels of the cabinet to the base frame.
  4. Install Cabinet Doors: Attach the double louvered doors to the cabinet using the hinges. Adjust as necessary for proper alignment.
  5. Install Adjustable Feet: Screw the adjustable feet into the bottom of the unit. Adjust them later to level the shelf.
  6. Assemble Upper Shelving: Construct the upper steel frame and attach the shelf panels.
  7. Integrate Power Strip: Secure the power strip into its designated slot on the unit. Ensure the power cord is routed safely.
  8. Attach Upper Section to Base: Carefully lift and secure the assembled upper shelving unit onto the base cabinet.
  9. Install Anti-Tip Device:
    • Position the unit in its desired location.
    • Mark the wall through the anti-tip bracket on the back of the unit.
    • Drill a pilot hole in the wall at the marked spot. Insert a wall anchor if necessary (for drywall).
    • Secure the anti-tip strap to the wall using the provided screw.
    • Attach the other end of the strap to the unit. Ensure the strap is taut.
  10. Final Adjustments: Adjust the feet to ensure the unit is level and stable.

4. Operating Instructions

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
  • Hardware Check: Periodically inspect all screws, bolts, and connections to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Cabinet Doors Do Not Align:
