1. Important Safety Information

Always read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating this tool. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses or goggles, gloves, and sturdy footwear.
  • Keep children, bystanders, and pets at a safe distance (at least 50 feet / 15 meters) from the operating area.
  • Inspect the work area for debris, rocks, or other objects that could be thrown by the blades. Remove them before starting.
  • Do not operate the tool in wet conditions or rain.
  • Ensure the battery is fully charged before use.
  • Always use the two-step safety switch: press the thumb button first, then the trigger to start. Release the thumb button after starting.
  • Never attempt to clear jammed material or perform maintenance while the tool is running or the battery is connected.
  • Store the tool and batteries in a dry, secure location away from children.

3. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your SakerPlus 3-in-1 Weed Wacker. Refer to the assembly diagram for visual guidance.

  1. Attach the Protection Cover and Wheels: Align the baffle with the slot on the trimmer head. Rotate it counter-clockwise until it is firmly fixed. If using the wheeled configuration, attach the two detachable wheels to the sides of the protection cover by securing them with the provided screws.
  2. Install the Blade:
    • Remove the screw from the center of the blade mounting point.
    • Carefully attach the desired blade (plastic, metal, or saw blade) onto the spindle, ensuring it sits flat.
    • Secure the blade by re-inserting and tightening the screw.
    • Fit the anti-collision rings around the blade if using the saw blade.
  3. Assemble the Telescoping Handle: Properly assemble the telescoping handle by extending it to your desired length (adjustable from 33" to 41"). Secure the locking mechanism.
  4. Mount the Auxiliary Handle: Mount the ergonomic auxiliary handle onto the main shaft. Fasten the screw to secure it in a comfortable position for your grip.
  5. Adjust Cutting Head Angle: The cutting head can rotate 0-90°. Adjust the angle by pressing the button for angle adjustment and setting it to your desired position for trimming, edging, or mowing.
  6. Charge Batteries: Fully charge both 24V 6500mAh Lithium-Ion batteries using the fast charger. For best results, charge for approximately 3 hours before the first use.
  7. Insert Battery: Once charged, insert a battery into the battery tank on the main handle until it clicks into place.

4. Operating Instructions

Your SakerPlus 3-in-1 Weed Wacker is designed for versatile lawn and garden care. Always wear safety goggles and gloves during operation.

4.1 Starting and Stopping the Tool

  • To start the tool, first press the safety lock thumb button, then simultaneously press the ON/OFF trigger switch.
  • Once the tool starts, you can release the thumb button.
  • To stop the tool, release the ON/OFF trigger switch.

4.2 Choosing the Right Blade (3-in-1 Functionality)

The SakerPlus weed wacker comes with three types of blades for different tasks:

  • Plastic Blades (5.32" cutting width): Ideal for cutting tender grass and light weeds. Best for general lawn mowing and light trimming.
  • Metal Blades (5.91" cutting width): Suitable for cutting thick weeds and hedges. Provides more durability for tougher vegetation.
  • Circular Saw Blades (6-inch diameter): Designed for pruning branches or bushes. Use with caution and ensure the anti-collision rings are in place.

4.3 Adjusting for Comfort and Reach

  • Telescopic Shaft: Adjust the pole length from 33" to 41" to suit your height and reduce back strain.
  • 90° Rotating Cutting Head: Pivot the cutting head to easily trim under bushes, along fences, or on uneven terrain.
  • Detachable Wheels: Use the wheels for easier lawn mowing or remove them for handheld trimming and edging in tight spaces.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your tool. Always disconnect the battery before performing any maintenance.

  • Cleaning: After each use, clean the tool body and cutting head with a damp cloth. Remove any grass clippings, dirt, or debris from the blade area and ventilation slots.
  • Blade Inspection: Regularly inspect the blades for wear, damage, or dullness. Replace worn or damaged blades immediately to maintain cutting efficiency and safety.
  • Battery Care:
    • Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
    • Do not store batteries in a discharged state for extended periods. Charge them periodically if not in use.
    • Use only the provided SakerPlus charger for your batteries.
  • Storage: Store the weed wacker in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children. Detach the battery for long-term storage.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your SakerPlus Weed Wacker, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
