2. Setup Guide

2.1 Package Contents

Before proceeding, ensure all items are present in the package:

  • USB Receiver (Dongle)
  • USB-C Charging Cable

2.2 Initial Charging

For optimal performance, fully charge the mouse before first use. Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the mouse's front port and the other end to a USB port on your computer or a compatible USB charger. The LED indicator on the mouse will show charging status.

2.3 Connectivity Options

2.3.1 2.4 GHz Wireless Mode

  1. Locate the USB receiver (dongle) in the mouse's bottom compartment or packaging.
  2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Slide the power switch on the bottom of the mouse to the "ON" position.
  4. The mouse should automatically connect to your computer. If not, press the pairing button (if available) on the mouse and/or refer to the troubleshooting section.

2.3.2 Wired Mode

Connect the supplied USB-C cable directly from the mouse to a USB port on your computer. The mouse will function in wired mode and charge simultaneously.

2.4 Driver Installation (ATK HUB/Web Driver)

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off

The power switch is located on the bottom of the mouse. Slide it to "ON" to power on the mouse and "OFF" to power it off.

3.2 DPI Adjustment

The ATK F1 Pro Max features a PAW3950 optical sensor with a wide DPI range. You can adjust the DPI (Dots Per Inch) sensitivity using the dedicated DPI button (usually located behind the scroll wheel) or through the ATK HUB/Web Driver software. The software allows for precise adjustment from 10 to 30000 DPI, and can be overclocked to 36000 DPI.

3.3 Polling Rate

The mouse supports an 8000 Hz polling rate, which means it reports its position to the computer 8000 times per second. This significantly reduces input lag for competitive gaming. The polling rate can be configured via the ATK HUB/Web Driver software.

3.4 Button Functions

The ATK F1 Pro Max features standard mouse buttons and customizable side buttons:

  • Left Click: Primary action.
  • Right Click: Secondary action/context menu.
  • Scroll Wheel: Scrolls content up/down. Can also be pressed for middle-click.
  • DPI Button: Cycles through preset DPI levels.
  • Side Buttons: Typically used for forward/back navigation in web browsers or customizable in software for gaming macros.

All buttons can be remapped and customized using the ATK HUB/Web Driver software.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning Your Mouse

To maintain the performance and appearance of your ATK F1 Pro Max mouse:

  • Ensure the mouse is powered off and disconnected from your computer.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the surface.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents.
  • Use a cotton swab or compressed air to clean around the scroll wheel and sensor area.

4.2 Battery Care

The ATK F1 Pro Max (Black) is equipped with a 500mAh nonstandard battery, providing up to 150 hours of battery life at 1000Hz polling rate. To prolong battery lifespan:

  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Store the mouse in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
  • If storing for a long time, charge the battery to about 50% before storage.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Mouse Not Responding

  • Ensure the mouse is powered on.
  • Check battery level and charge if necessary.
  • For wireless mode, ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try a different USB port.
  • For wired mode, ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the mouse and the computer.
  • Try restarting your computer.

5.2 Tracking Issues

  • Clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse.
  • Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface (non-reflective, uniform color).

  • Update mouse drivers and firmware via the ATK HUB/Web Driver.

5.3 Software Not Detecting Mouse

  • Ensure the mouse is connected to the computer (wired or wireless).
  • Restart the ATK HUB/Web Driver software.
  • Reinstall the ATK HUB/Web Driver software from https://atk.pro.
  • Temporarily disable any antivirus or firewall software that might be blocking the driver.
