1. Important Safety Information

WARNING: Misuse or careless use may cause serious injury or death. Read these instructions carefully before using this air gun.

• ALWAYS treat every gun as if it were loaded.
• NEVER point the air gun at anything you do not intend to shoot.
• ALWAYS keep the air gun on 'SAFE' until you are ready to fire.
• ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target and you are ready to shoot.
• ALWAYS wear appropriate eye protection when handling or shooting the air gun.
• ALWAYS be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
• Store the air gun unloaded and separate from ammunition, in a secure location inaccessible to children and unauthorized users.
• Do not modify the air gun. Any modifications may void the warranty and compromise safety.

3. Setup

3.1. Initial Inspection

Upon unpacking, carefully inspect all components for any signs of damage. Ensure all included items are present as listed in Section 2. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact Lancer Tactical customer support immediately.

3.2. Scope Mounting

1. Identify the 21.2 mm Picatinny rail located on top of the air gun receiver.
2. Attach the scope rings to the Picatinny rail, ensuring they are securely fastened.
3. Place the scope into the rings, ensuring proper eye relief and reticle alignment.
4. Tighten the scope ring screws evenly to secure the scope without over-tightening.
5. Perform initial zeroing of the scope as per the scope's specific instructions.

3.3. Filling the Air Tank (PCP)

The T-REX is a Pre-Charged Pneumatic (PCP) air gun and requires an external air source (e.g., high-pressure hand pump, scuba tank, or compressor) to fill its 230CC air tank. Always use clean, dry compressed air. Do not use oxygen or any other gas.

1. Ensure the air gun is unloaded and on 'SAFE'.
2. Locate the fill port, typically covered by a dust cap, at the front of the air tank.
3. Connect the provided fill probe to your air source hose.
4. Insert the fill probe firmly into the air gun's fill port.
5. Slowly open the valve on your air source to begin filling. Monitor the pressure gauge on the air gun or fill station. Do not exceed the maximum fill pressure (typically indicated on the air gun or in specifications).
6. Once the desired pressure is reached, close the air source valve and slowly bleed the pressure from the hose before disconnecting the fill probe.
7. Replace the dust cap on the fill port.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Loading Pellets

The T-REX PCP Air Gun uses .22 caliber (5.5mm) pellets. Always use high-quality, consistent pellets for best accuracy.

1. Ensure the air gun is on 'SAFE' and pointed in a safe direction.
2. Operate the bolt action to open the breech.
3. Carefully insert a single .22 caliber pellet into the breech, ensuring the skirt of the pellet is fully seated.
4. Close the bolt action firmly. The air gun is now loaded and cocked.

4.2. Safety Operation

The air gun is equipped with a manual safety mechanism. The safety lever is typically located near the trigger guard.

• 'SAFE' Position: When the safety is engaged, the trigger mechanism is blocked, preventing accidental discharge. The safety resistance can be adjusted from 1-6 Lbf.
• 'FIRE' Position: Disengage the safety only when you are ready to shoot and your target is acquired.

4.3. Firing the Air Gun

1. With the air gun loaded and cocked, assume a stable shooting position.
2. Aim at your target, ensuring proper sight alignment and picture.
3. Disengage the safety (move to 'FIRE' position).
4. Place your finger on the trigger and slowly apply pressure until the shot breaks. The trigger pull is adjustable between 2-5 Lbf.
5. After firing, keep the air gun pointed in a safe direction until you are ready for the next shot or to unload.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your T-REX PCP Air Gun.

5.1. Barrel Cleaning

Clean the barrel periodically, especially after extended shooting sessions or if accuracy degrades.

1. Ensure the air gun is unloaded and degassed (air tank empty).
2. Use a cleaning rod with a patch holder and appropriate .22 caliber cleaning patches.
3. Apply a small amount of air gun barrel cleaning solution to a patch.
4. Push the patch through the barrel from the breech end (if possible) to the muzzle. Avoid pulling dirty patches back through the breech.
5. Repeat with clean, dry patches until they come out clean.

5.2. General Care and Storage

• Wipe down the exterior of the air gun with a clean, dry cloth after each use to remove dirt, moisture, and fingerprints.
• Periodically apply a thin coat of silicone oil to metal parts to prevent corrosion. Avoid petroleum-based oils on seals.
• Store the air gun in a cool, dry place, ideally in a gun case, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• For long-term storage, it is recommended to store PCP air guns with some pressure in the tank (e.g., 500-1000 PSI) to maintain seal integrity, but never fully empty or fully charged.

8.1. Warranty Information

This product comes with a 60 Days Warranty. To obtain warranty coverage, the warranty holder must (i) provide proof of original purchase, and (ii) the defective device must be safely and securely packaged and shipped before the expiration of the warranty period to the seller in accordance with instructions provided with the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). The seller shall have the sole authority to determine if a claim is covered by this limited warranty.

Our warranty covers defects in manufacturing, materials, or workmanship. Our warranty excludes batteries, chargers and accessories and does not cover damages caused by the user. Examples include, but not limited to, opening up your gearbox, normal wear and tear, disassembling your rifle or modifications, dropping or damage caused during play as well as any attempted repairs made to the item. Removing the orange tip WILL VOID your warranty. If your warranty is voided or if you are outside of the 1 year warranty period you can still have your airsoft rifles repaired for a fee.
