1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the GWVEE Replacement Remote Control, designed for seamless operation with ULTIMEA Poseidon D70 (7.1 Soundbar), Poseidon D60/M4T, Poseidon D50/M3T, and Apollo S90 soundbar systems. This remote offers full functionality, replicating the original remote's capabilities for volume control, sound modes, input switching, and special features.

2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included). To install:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the battery cover downwards to open.
  3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
  4. Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2.2 Initial Use (No Programming Required)

This replacement remote control is designed for immediate use with compatible ULTIMEA soundbar systems. No programming or complex setup is required. Once batteries are installed, the remote is ready to operate your soundbar.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Button Functions Overview

  • Power Button (): Turns the soundbar on or off.
  • ARC: Selects the Audio Return Channel input.
  • SOURCE: Cycles through available input sources (e.g., HDMI, Optical, Bluetooth).
  • OPT: Selects the Optical input.
  • AUX: Selects the Auxiliary input.
  • BT: Activates Bluetooth pairing mode or selects Bluetooth input.
  • USB: Selects the USB input for media playback.
  • SUB PAIR: Initiates pairing with a wireless subwoofer.
  • Volume Up/Down (+/-): Adjusts the main volume level.
  • MUTE (🔇): Mutes or unmutes the sound.
  • LED DIMMER (💡): Adjusts the brightness of the soundbar's LED display.
  • Playback Controls ( / / ): For USB or Bluetooth playback, these control previous track, play/pause, and next track.
  • USB REPEAT: Toggles repeat modes for USB playback.
  • BASS (+/-): Adjusts the bass level.
  • MIDRANGE (+/-): Adjusts the midrange level.
  • TREBLE (+/-): Adjusts the treble level.
  • Sound Modes (MOVIE, MUSIC, VOICE, SPORT, GAME, NIGHT): Selects predefined audio equalization settings optimized for different content types.
  • SURROUND (+/-): Adjusts the surround sound effect level.
  • PROMPT TONE (+/-): Adjusts the volume of system prompt tones.

3.2 Optimal Remote Control Usage

For best performance, ensure a clear line of sight between the remote control and the soundbar's infrared (IR) receiver. The remote operates effectively within a range of approximately 30 feet (9 meters) and offers a wide-angle control capability.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

To clean the remote control, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive pads, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface or internal components.

4.2 Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or it ceases to function. Always replace both AAA batteries simultaneously with new ones. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

4.3 Storage

When storing the remote for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage, which can cause damage to the device.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Remote not responding:
    • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
    • Replace old batteries with new AAA batteries.
    • Ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote and the soundbar's IR receiver. Remove any obstructions.
    • Confirm the remote is pointed directly at the soundbar.
