Introduction

The NiPoGi AM21 Mini PC is a compact and powerful desktop computer designed for a wide range of applications, from office tasks and creative design to light gaming and multimedia entertainment. Featuring an AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS processor, 16GB of high-speed DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, this mini PC delivers exceptional performance in a small form factor. It supports up to four 4K displays simultaneously and offers robust connectivity options including WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and dual LAN ports.

1. Setup Guide

1.1 What's in the Box

• 1 x NiPoGi AM21 Mini PC
• 1 x Power Adapter
• 1 x HDMI Cable
• 1 x VESA Mount
• 1 x User Manual

1.2 Initial Connection

1. Connect to Power: Plug the power adapter into the DC port on the rear of the Mini PC, then connect it to a power outlet.
2. Connect Display: Use the provided HDMI cable to connect your monitor or TV to one of the HDMI 2.1 ports on the rear of the Mini PC. For multi-display setups, use additional HDMI, USB4 Type-C, or USB 3.2 Type-C ports.
3. Connect Peripherals: Connect your keyboard and mouse to the available USB ports.
4. Network Connection: For a wired connection, plug an Ethernet cable into one of the LAN ports. For wireless, ensure your WiFi network is available during the operating system setup.
5. Power On: Press the power button located on the front of the Mini PC. The system will boot up.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Multi-Display Setup

The AM21 Mini PC supports up to four 4K displays simultaneously, offering enhanced productivity and immersive entertainment. Connect your monitors using the following ports:

• 2 x HDMI 2.1 ports (4K@60Hz support)
• 1 x USB4 Type-C port (40Gbps bandwidth with DisplayPort 1.4 support)
• 1 x USB 3.2 Type-C port (10Gbps with DisplayPort 1.4 alternate mode)

After connecting, configure your display settings within your operating system to extend or duplicate your desktop across multiple screens.

2.2 Connectivity

The Mini PC offers versatile connectivity options:

• Wireless: Integrated WiFi 6 (802.11ax) for faster wireless speeds and Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting wireless peripherals.

3. Storage Expansion

The NiPoGi AM21 Mini PC comes with a 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. For additional storage, the device supports:

• M.2 NVMe SSD: Expansion up to 4TB via an additional M.2 slot.
• 2.5-inch SATA Drive: An easily accessible compartment allows for the addition of a 2.5-inch SATA SSD or HDD. This can be connected via an internal USB Type-C to SATA converter.

To install an additional drive, carefully open the bottom panel of the Mini PC. Ensure the device is powered off and disconnected from the power source before performing any hardware modifications.

4. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your NiPoGi AM21 Mini PC, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Keep Vents Clear: Ensure that the ventilation openings on the Mini PC are not obstructed. Proper airflow is crucial for effective heat dissipation.
• Regular Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. For dust accumulation in vents, use compressed air sparingly.
• Operating Environment: Place the Mini PC in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or humidity.
• Software Updates: Regularly update your operating system and drivers to maintain system stability and security.

The optimized cooling system, featuring copper tubes and a silent fan, is designed to keep the device cool and quiet (below 38 dB) even under prolonged high load.

If you encounter issues with your NiPoGi AM21 Mini PC, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• No Power:
  • Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the Mini PC and a working power outlet.
  • Verify the power outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
• No Display:
  • Check that the HDMI or display cables are firmly connected to both the Mini PC and the monitor.
  • Ensure the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source.
  • Try a different display cable or monitor if available.
• Slow Performance:
  • Close unnecessary applications running in the background.
  • Check for available operating system updates and install them.
  • Ensure there is sufficient free space on your primary drive.
  • Monitor CPU and RAM usage through Task Manager (Windows) to identify resource-intensive processes.
