Setup Guide

1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Choose a Location: Place the litter box on a firm, level surface in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is enough space around the unit for proper operation and maintenance.
3. Install Trash Bag: Open the waste drawer located at the bottom front of the unit. Line the drawer with one of the provided trash bags, ensuring it is securely fitted. Close the waste drawer.
4. Add Cat Litter: Pour clumping cat litter into the main globe. Do not exceed the MAX fill line indicated inside the globe. Overfilling can affect the cleaning mechanism.
5. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the power port on the back of the unit, then plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The unit will perform an initial calibration cycle.
6. Download App (Optional): For advanced control and monitoring, download the BCHARYA app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your device.

Operating Instructions

Automatic Cleaning Cycle

The BCHARYA Self Cleaning Cat Litter Box is designed to automatically clean itself after your cat uses it. Sensors detect when your cat has exited the unit, and after a preset delay (to allow litter to clump), the cleaning cycle will begin.

• The globe will rotate, sifting the clean litter and depositing waste into the waste drawer below.
• Once the cycle is complete, the globe will return to its original position, ready for the next use.

Manual Control (via App)

The companion app provides additional control options:

• Empty: Initiates a cycle to empty all litter into the waste drawer. Useful for full litter changes.
• Clean: Initiates a standard cleaning cycle immediately.
• Reset: Resets the unit's sensors and internal counter.
• Operation Logs: View a history of cleaning cycles and other events.
• Working Status: Displays the current status of the unit (e.g., Standby, Cleaning).
• Cat Weight: Monitors and displays the last detected cat weight (if applicable).

Maintenance

Emptying the Waste Drawer

The waste drawer should be emptied regularly, depending on the number of cats and their usage.

1. Pull out the waste drawer from the front of the unit.
2. Carefully tie off the trash bag and dispose of it.
3. Insert a new trash bag and push the drawer back into place until it clicks.

Cleaning the Unit

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene.

• Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• Interior (Globe): For a deeper clean, you can remove the globe. Refer to the app or online resources for detailed instructions on globe removal. Clean with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and ensure it is completely dry before reassembling.
• Sensors: Periodically wipe the sensors (located near the opening) with a dry, soft cloth to ensure they are free of dust or debris.
