5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the magnifier. Connect the USB charging cable to the device's USB port and the other end to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

5.2 Inserting a TF Card (Optional)

To save images, insert a TF card (up to 32GB, not included) into the designated TF card slot on the side of the device. Ensure the card is inserted correctly until it clicks into place.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually located on the side or top) until the screen illuminates.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again until the screen turns off.

6.2 Adjusting Magnification

Use the Zoom In (+) and Zoom Out (-) buttons to adjust the magnification level from 2X to 48X. Place the magnifier over the text or object you wish to view.

6.3 Changing Color Modes

Press the Color Mode (*) button to cycle through the 26 available color modes. These modes provide various contrast options to suit different visual needs and preferences.

6.4 Adjusting Screen Brightness

The device features 5 levels of adjustable LCD screen brightness. Use the appropriate button (often combined with settings or a dedicated brightness button) to increase or decrease the screen's illumination for optimal viewing comfort.

6.5 Switching Between Near and Far Lenses

Press the Far or Near View Switch button to toggle between the near lens (for reading close-up text like books and documents) and the far lens (for viewing distant objects like signs or whiteboards).

6.6 Using Curtain Modes

The device offers horizontal and vertical curtain modes to help focus on specific lines of text and reduce visual clutter. Press the Curtain & Setting Button to activate and cycle through these modes.

6.7 Connecting to a TV (AV/HDMI Output)

For a larger viewing experience, connect the magnifier to a television using the provided AV or HDMI cable. Select the corresponding input on your TV.

6.8 Saving Images (Freeze Function)

Press the Freeze and De-freeze button to capture and freeze the current image on the screen. If a TF card is inserted, the image will be saved to the card. Press the button again to unfreeze and resume live viewing.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the screen and lens. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the magnifier in its storage pouch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in constant use.
  • Handling: Handle the device with care to prevent drops or impacts, which could damage internal components or the screen.

8. Troubleshooting
