5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe down all lock components with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and grime. Avoid harsh chemicals.

- Strap Inspection: Periodically check the Vise Guard Air Combo 1500 strap (BS-007) for any cuts, fraying, or damage. Replace if significant wear is observed.
- Battery Replacement (BS-003B): Replace batteries in the Guardog Vise Guard II Throttle Lock when the alarm sounds weak or the LED indicator dims. Use the recommended battery type.
6. Troubleshooting
- Padlock Sticking (BS-007): If the padlock is difficult to open or close, apply lubricant as described in the Maintenance section. Ensure the key is fully inserted and turned correctly.
- Throttle Lock Alarm Malfunction (BS-003B): If the alarm does not sound or sounds intermittently, check the battery level and replace if necessary. Ensure the lock is securely fitted and the tilt sensor is not obstructed.
- Dial Lock Difficulty (BS-004WT): If the dial lock is hard to open, ensure the combination is entered precisely. Clean any dirt from the dials.
