Unboxing and Initial Setup
Your ROCKTOL Gen-R Lite Multitool comes with a premium leather sheath and a double-ended bit. Carefully remove all components from the packaging. The leather sheath is designed for convenient carry on a belt or attached to a keychain.

Operating Instructions
The Gen-R Lite Multitool integrates 15 functions. Always ensure tools are fully deployed and locked before use to prevent injury.
1. VG10 Blade
The multitool features a sharp VG10 stainless steel blade with HRC 60 hardness for superior edge retention. To deploy, carefully open the blade using the thumb hole until it locks into place. To fold, press the liner lock and carefully close the blade.

2. Large Scissors
The large spring-action scissors are designed for efficient cutting. To use, open the scissors until they are locked in the handle with the liner lock (you will hear a 'click') to activate the spring action. Do not press the area indicated in the diagram below during operation to maintain spring tension.

3. Screwdrivers & Glass Breaker
The multitool includes 1.5mm slotted and Philips screwdrivers, ideal for precise instruments. It also features a #3 screwdriver and a glass breaker/PH1 screwdriver bit. The bit holder is designed for secure retention. To insert or remove bits, align the bit with the hexagonal socket and push firmly.

4. Other Tools
The multitool also includes a can and bottle opener, wire stripper, awl, wood/metal file, and a ruler. Each tool can be deployed individually. Ensure each tool is fully extended and locked before applying force.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, especially in wet or dirty conditions, clean the multitool with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Lubrication: Periodically apply a small amount of light oil to the pivot points of the tools to ensure smooth operation.
- Blade Sharpening: The VG10 blade will retain its edge well, but can be sharpened using standard knife sharpening techniques when needed.
- Storage: Store the multitool in its leather sheath in a dry environment to prevent corrosion.
Troubleshooting
- Stiff Tools: If tools become stiff, apply a small amount of lubricant to the pivot points and work the tools back and forth.
- Blade/Tool Not Locking: Ensure no debris is obstructing the locking mechanism. Clean the area and try again. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
- Rust Spots: Clean immediately with a rust remover and apply a protective oil. Stainless steel is stain-resistant, not stain-proof.
