4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Initial Preparation
- Unpack the ice machine and all accessories.
- Clean the machine thoroughly before first use.
- Allow the machine to stand upright for 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows refrigerants to settle.
- Ensure the installation location has adequate ventilation and is away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
4.2 Connecting Water and Drainage
- Connect the water inlet pipe to a potable water supply.
- Connect the water outlet (drainage) pipe to a suitable drain. Ensure the drain pipe has a downward slope for proper water flow.
- Verify all connections are secure to prevent leaks.

Note: The ice machine is shipped in two packages (ice maker unit and storage bin) which may be delivered separately. Assemble the ice maker unit onto the storage bin as shown in the installation diagram.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- Plug the machine into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Press the "ON/OFF" button on the LCD control panel to start or stop the ice making process.
5.2 Ice Making Process
Once powered on, the machine will automatically begin the ice making cycle. Water will fill the reservoir, and ice cubes will form on the evaporator. After formation, the ice cubes will be released into the storage bin. The LCD panel will display the current status.
5.3 Adjusting Ice Thickness
Use the "+" and "-" buttons on the LCD control panel to adjust the ice cube thickness. Thinner ice cubes are typically made faster (5-8 minutes), while thicker ice cubes take longer (11-15 minutes). The machine can produce medium ice in 8-11 minutes.

5.4 Self-Cleaning Function
The machine is equipped with an auto self-cleaning function. Refer to the LCD panel for the "CLEAN" button or indicator. Activate this function regularly to maintain hygiene and optimal performance. Follow the on-screen prompts or manual instructions for the cleaning cycle.
5.5 Timing Function
Utilize the "TIMER" function on the LCD panel to schedule ice production. This allows you to set specific hours for the machine to operate, ensuring ice is ready when needed and conserving energy during off-peak hours. The machine will automatically stop when the ice bin is full, providing overflow protection.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Regular Cleaning
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For stainless steel, use a non-abrasive cleaner.
- Interior (Ice Bin): Regularly clean the ice storage bin with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before resuming operation.
- Water System: Periodically run the self-cleaning cycle. For deeper cleaning, consult a professional or refer to specific instructions for descaling the water system.
- Air Filter: Clean the air filter (if applicable) regularly to ensure proper ventilation and efficient operation.
6.2 Long-Term Storage
If the machine will not be used for an extended period, drain all water from the system, clean the interior and exterior, and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area.
7. Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer service, please refer to the following table for common issues and their solutions.
