1. Setup and Initial Use
1.1 Package Contents

1.2 Charging the Keyboard
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the keyboard. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The keyboard's indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.
1.3 Connectivity Modes
The EvoFox Katana S Mini supports three connectivity modes: Wired, 2.4GHz Wireless, and Bluetooth (up to 3 devices).

1.3.1 Wired Mode
- Connect the USB-C cable to the keyboard and the USB-A end to your computer.
- The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode.
- This mode also charges the keyboard.
1.3.2 2.4GHz Wireless Mode
- Locate the 2.4GHz USB receiver (usually stored in a compartment on the keyboard or packaging).
- Plug the 2.4GHz USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Turn on the keyboard using the power switch (located on the back or side).
- Press Fn + R to switch to 2.4GHz mode. The indicator light will confirm the connection.
1.3.3 Bluetooth Mode (BT1, BT2, BT3)
The keyboard can pair with up to three Bluetooth devices.
- Turn on the keyboard using the power switch.
- Press Fn + Q, Fn + W, or Fn + E to select a Bluetooth channel (BT1, BT2, or BT3). The corresponding key will flash rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
- On your device (computer, tablet, phone), enable Bluetooth and search for "EvoFox Katana S Mini".
- Select the keyboard to pair. Once connected, the key will stop flashing and remain steadily lit for a few seconds.
- To switch between paired Bluetooth devices, press Fn + Q, Fn + W, or Fn + E.
2. Operating Instructions
2.1 Basic Key Functions
The keyboard features a compact 68-key layout. Many functions are accessed using the Fn key in combination with other keys.

- Fn + Q/W/E: Switch between Bluetooth devices (BT1, BT2, BT3).

2.3 Gaming Performance Features
- 1000Hz Polling Rate: Ensures rapid response times in Wired and 2.4G modes.
- All-Key Anti-Ghosting: Prevents missed key presses during rapid input in Wired and 2.4G modes. (Note: Anti-ghosting is limited to 6 keys in Bluetooth mode).

3. Maintenance
3.1 Cleaning the Keyboard
- Turn off the keyboard and disconnect it from all devices.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the keycaps and chassis.
- For dust and debris between keys, use compressed air.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
3.2 Replacing Switches and Keycaps
The EvoFox Katana S Mini features hot-swappable Jixian Red switches, allowing for easy replacement without soldering.

3.2.1 Removing Keycaps
- Use the provided keycap puller to gently grip the keycap you wish to remove.
- Pull straight up with even pressure until the keycap detaches.
3.2.2 Removing Switches
- After removing the keycap, use the provided switch puller.
- Position the switch puller's prongs onto the two clips on the top and bottom of the switch housing.
- Squeeze the clips and gently pull the switch straight up.
3.2.3 Installing Switches and Keycaps
- Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB. Ensure the switch is oriented correctly.
- Gently push the switch down until it clicks into place. Do not force it.
- Place the desired keycap onto the switch stem and press down firmly until it is secure.
4. Troubleshooting
