5. Installation Instructions

The BAYTINA TINA-02-MAX Smart Toilet is designed for straightforward installation with a standard 12-inch rough-in. Professional installation is recommended.

5.1 Pre-Installation Checklist

  • Ensure water supply is turned off.
  • Remove existing toilet (if applicable).
  • Clean the flange area.
  • Verify rough-in measurement (12 inches from finished wall to center of drain).
  • Ensure a grounded electrical outlet is available near the installation area.

5.2 Installation Steps

  1. Prepare the Floor Flange: Install the new wax ring onto the toilet's waste outlet or directly onto the floor flange.
  2. Position the Toilet: Carefully lower the toilet onto the floor flange, aligning the bolts with the holes in the toilet base.
  3. Secure the Toilet: Hand-tighten the nuts onto the flange bolts. Do not overtighten to avoid cracking the ceramic.
  4. Connect Water Supply: Connect the flexible water supply line from the angle valve to the toilet's water inlet. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  5. Connect Power: Plug the toilet's power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
