4. Setup

Follow these steps to assemble your vacuum cleaner before first use.

  1. Attach the Hose: Insert the flexible hose into the air inlet opening on the main unit until it clicks into place.
  2. Connect the Telescopic Tube: Attach the telescopic tube to the handle of the flexible hose. Ensure it clicks securely.
  3. Attach the Nozzle: Connect the MultiClean nozzle to the end of the telescopic tube.
  4. Extend the Telescopic Tube: Adjust the telescopic tube to a comfortable working height by pressing the release button and sliding the tube.
  5. Power Connection: Pull out the power cord from the main unit and insert the plug into a suitable wall socket.

5. Operating Instructions

Switching On/Off

  1. To switch on the appliance, press the on/off button.
  2. To switch off the appliance, press the on/off button again.

Using the MultiClean Nozzle

The MultiClean nozzle is designed for effective cleaning on various floor types.

  • For hard floors (tiles, wood, laminate), ensure the brush is retracted.
  • For carpets and rugs, extend the brush for optimal performance.

Using the Integrated Soft Brush

The integrated soft brush is conveniently located in the handle for quick access.

  1. Disconnect the telescopic tube from the hose handle.
  2. Slide the soft brush down to expose the bristles.
  3. Use the brush for cleaning furniture, upholstery, or delicate surfaces.

ActiveLock Couplings

The ActiveLock couplings allow for easy attachment and detachment of nozzles and accessories. Simply press the release button to change accessories.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.

Emptying the Dust Bin

Empty the dust bin when the 'Max' indicator is reached or after each use.

  1. Switch off the appliance and unplug it from the wall socket.
  2. Press the dust bin release button and remove the dust bin from the main unit.
  3. Hold the dust bin over a waste bin and press the dust bin lid release button to open the lid and empty the contents.
  4. Close the dust bin lid securely and reattach the dust bin to the main unit.

Cleaning the Filters

The appliance is equipped with an Allergy H13 HEPA filter and a foam filter. Clean them regularly.

  1. Foam Filter: Remove the dust bin. Take out the foam filter. Rinse it under running water. Allow it to air dry completely (at least 24 hours) before reinserting.
  2. HEPA Filter: The HEPA filter is located behind the foam filter. Tap it gently over a waste bin to remove dust. Do not wash the HEPA filter. Replace it every 12 months or when visibly soiled.

Important: Ensure all filters are completely dry before reassembling the vacuum cleaner to prevent damage.
