1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the amunrbrek Large/Tall Litter Box Enclosure. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new cat furniture. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly and retain this manual for future reference.

Safety Information

• Keep all small parts and packaging materials away from children and pets during assembly.
• Ensure all screws and fasteners are securely tightened before use. Periodically check for loose connections.
• Do not overload the top surface or the interior of the enclosure. The maximum weight capacity for the top surface is 150 lbs (68 kg).
• Place the enclosure on a flat, stable surface to prevent tipping.
• This product is designed for indoor use only.

Before assembly, verify that all components listed below are present and undamaged. If any parts are missing or damaged, please contact customer support.

3. Setup and Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to have a second person assist with certain steps.

1. Prepare the Workspace: Clear a spacious area and lay out all parts on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
2. Assemble the Base: Attach the side panels to the bottom panel using the provided hardware (dowels and cam locks/screws). Ensure the cat entry cutout is facing the desired direction.
3. Install Leveling Feet: Secure the four gold leveling feet to the underside of the bottom panel. Adjust them later to ensure stability.
4. Attach Back Panel: Slide or screw the back panel into place, connecting it to the side and bottom panels.
5. Assemble the Drawer: Construct the drawer box using the drawer front, sides, and bottom. Install the drawer slides onto the drawer and the corresponding cabinet sections.
6. Install Cabinet Doors: Attach the hinges to the cabinet doors and then to the main cabinet structure. Adjust hinges as needed for proper door alignment.
7. Attach Top Panel: Secure the top panel to the assembled structure.
8. Final Checks: Ensure all connections are tight and the unit is stable. Adjust leveling feet if necessary.

4. Operating Instructions

Placing the Litter Box

• Open the cabinet doors.
• Place your preferred litter box inside the main compartment. The enclosure is designed to accommodate large and top-entry litter boxes.
• Ensure there is sufficient space for your cat to enter and exit comfortably through the side opening.
• The cat entrance is fixed on one side and is not reversible.

Using the Storage Drawer

• The integrated drawer is located at the top of the unit.
• Pull the drawer open to store cat supplies such as litter bags, scoops, treats, or toys.
• Push the drawer firmly to close it completely.

Cat Entry and Privacy

• The side cutout provides a private entry and exit point for your cat.
• The enclosed design helps to reduce litter tracking and contain odors.

5. Maintenance

Cleaning

• Wipe the exterior and interior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the engineered wood finish.
• For spills, clean immediately to prevent staining or warping.
• Regularly clean the litter box inside the enclosure according to your litter box manufacturer's instructions.

Care

• Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary.
• Avoid exposing the furniture to excessive moisture or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

6. Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions

• Wobbly Unit: Ensure the enclosure is on a level surface. Adjust the gold leveling feet on the bottom of the unit until stable. Check that all assembly screws are tightened.
• Doors Not Aligning: Adjust the door hinges. Most hinges allow for minor adjustments (up/down, left/right, in/out) using a screwdriver. Refer to the hinge manufacturer's instructions if specific adjustments are unclear.
• Drawer Not Sliding Smoothly: Check that the drawer slides are correctly installed and free of obstructions. Ensure all screws securing the slides are tight.
• Cat Not Using Enclosure: Introduce your cat to the enclosure gradually. Place familiar items inside, such as a favorite toy or a small amount of used litter. Ensure the litter box is clean and accessible.

Warranty Information

This amunrbrek product comes with a 2-Year Manufacturer Warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear.
