Front Panel:

  • USB 3.0 Ports (1-4): Connect USB peripherals such as keyboard, mouse, printer, USB disk, gamepad, etc.
  • PC1/PC2 Indicators: LEDs to show which computer is currently selected.
  • SW Button: Manual switch button to toggle between PC1 and PC2.
  • Control Port: Connect the wired desktop controller for remote switching.

Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to connect your KVM switch:

  1. Power Off Devices: Ensure both computers and all monitors are powered off before making any connections.
  2. Connect Monitors: Connect your three monitors to the KVM switch's output ports (OUT A, OUT B, OUT C) using DisplayPort and HDMI cables.
  3. Connect Computers:
    • For PC1: Connect its USB 3.0 port to the KVM's PC1 IN USB3.0 port using a supplied USB 3.0 cable. Connect PC1's two DisplayPort outputs to DP1 A and DP1 B, and its HDMI output to HDMI1 C.
    • For PC2: Connect its USB 3.0 port to the KVM's PC2 IN USB3.0 port using a supplied USB 3.0 cable. Connect PC2's two DisplayPort outputs to DP2 A and DP2 B, and its HDMI output to HDMI2 C.

    Important Note: Each connected computer must support multi-screen display and have 2 DisplayPort outputs and 1 HDMI output to utilize all three monitors. Ensure your graphics card supports this configuration.

  4. Connect USB Peripherals: Plug your keyboard, mouse, and other USB 3.0 devices into the USB 3.0 ports (1-4) on the front panel of the KVM switch.
  5. Connect Desktop Controller (Optional): Plug the wired desktop controller into the 'Control' port on the front panel for convenient remote switching.
  6. Connect Power: Connect the 12V power adapter to the DC 12V port on the rear panel and then plug it into a power outlet.
  7. Power On: Turn on the KVM switch using the ON/OFF switch, then power on your monitors and computers.

Operating Instructions

Switching Between Computers:

The KVM switch offers two methods for switching between connected computers:

  • Button Switch: Press the 'SW' button on the front panel of the KVM switch to toggle between PC1 and PC2. The corresponding LED indicator will illuminate.
  • Desktop Controller: Press the button on the wired desktop controller to switch between PC1 and PC2. This allows for convenient switching without reaching the KVM unit.

Note: Keyboard hotkey switching is not supported by this model.

Display Modes:

The KVM switch supports both extended and mirrored display modes for your three monitors:

  • Extended Mode: Allows you to output three different screens, extending your desktop across all three monitors. This is ideal for multitasking and increased workspace.
  • Mirror Mode: Outputs three identical screens, duplicating your desktop across all three monitors. Useful for presentations or sharing content.

USB 3.0 Functionality:

The KVM switch features four USB 3.0 ports, providing data transfer rates up to 5Gbps, which is 10 times faster than USB 2.0. These ports are compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices, allowing you to share various peripherals between your two computers.
