Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Grinder does not start | Power cord not plugged in; Bean hopper or grinding chamber not correctly installed. | Ensure power cord is securely plugged in. Check that the bean hopper and grinding chamber are locked into place (listen for a click). |
| Inconsistent grind size | Grind setting is too coarse/fine for desired method; Burrs are dirty. | Adjust the grind setting to a more appropriate level. Clean the burrs thoroughly as per maintenance instructions. |
| Coffee grounds scatter | Static electricity build-up. | The grinder features anti-static technology. Ensure the grinding chamber is clean and dry. A small amount of moisture on beans can sometimes reduce static. |
| Grinder stops unexpectedly | Overheating; Blockage in burrs. | Unplug and allow the unit to cool down for 30 minutes. Check for and clear any blockages in the burrs or chute using the cleaning brush. |
