1. Introduction

This instruction manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your Emasme Electronic Keypad Safety Box. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use, and retain it for future reference.

2. Product Contents

3. Safety Information

  • Do not store emergency keys inside the safe. Keep them in a secure, separate location.
  • Ensure the safe is placed on a stable, level surface or securely mounted to a wall/floor.
  • Keep the safe away from excessive moisture or direct heat sources.
  • Regularly check battery levels to ensure proper operation of the electronic keypad.

4. Setup

4.1 First Opening or Emergency Opening

For the initial opening or in case of emergency (e.g., forgotten code, dead batteries), use the emergency key:

  1. Locate the emergency keyhole, usually concealed behind the keypad or a cover.
  2. Insert the emergency key into the keyhole.
  3. Rotate the key counter-clockwise to unlock the safe.
  4. Turn the knob to open the safe door.

4.2 Battery Installation

The electronic keypad requires 4*AA alkaline batteries for operation. Install them as follows:

  1. Open the safe door.
  2. Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door.
  3. Remove the battery cover.
  4. Insert four AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  5. Replace the battery cover.

4.3 Mounting the Safe

The safe can be mounted to a wall or floor for added security. It features 4 pre-drilled holes on the back and 2 on the bottom.

  1. Step 1: Place the safe in the desired installation location (wall or floor). Mark the drilling spots on the wall/floor through the pre-drilled holes.
  2. Step 2: Remove the safe and drill a 10mm hole at each marked spot using a drill bit.
  3. Step 3: Position the safe back in place and insert the expansion bolts through the safe's holes into the drilled holes. Tighten the screws securely.

5. Operation

5.1 Setting the First Code

To set your personal access code:

  1. With the safe door open, locate and press the red "SETTING BUTTON" on the inside of the door.
  2. Enter your desired new code (1-8 digits).
  3. Press "#" to confirm.
  4. Re-enter the new code.
  5. Press "#" again to confirm. The safe will emit a confirmation sound.

The default password is "123456".

5.2 Setting the Second Code

To set a secondary access code:

  1. Press "00" followed by the "SETTING BUTTON" on the inside of the door.
  2. Enter your desired new code (1-8 digits).
  3. Press "#" to confirm.
  4. Re-enter the new code.
  5. Press "#" again to confirm. The safe will emit a confirmation sound.

5.3 Opening the Safe

The safe offers three methods for quick access:

  • Code + Knob: Enter your 1-8 digit code, then turn the knob.
  • Key + Knob: Insert the emergency key, turn it counter-clockwise, then turn the knob.
  • Backup Power Box + Code + Knob: If batteries are dead, connect the emergency battery box, enter your code, then turn the knob.

5.4 Silent Mode

To turn on/off silent mode (mute keypad sounds):

  • Press the "*" key for approximately 3 seconds.
  • The safe will indicate silent mode activation/deactivation.

5.5 Dual Alarm System

The safe is equipped with a dual alarm system for enhanced security:

  • Vibration Alarm: If the safe is shaken or hit hard, it will activate an alarm immediately.
  • Incorrect Code Alarm: Entering an incorrect code three times consecutively will trigger the alarm.
  • The alarm sound exceeds 70 decibels and lasts for one minute. To stop the alarm, enter the correct code.

5.6 Adjustable and Removable Shelf

The safe includes a removable shelf that can be adjusted to different heights or removed entirely to accommodate larger items. This provides flexible storage options for various valuables such as cash, jewelry, documents, cameras, watches, medicine, books, or trophy cups.

5.7 Key Rack

A convenient key rack is located inside the safe door, providing a secure and organized space for multiple keys.

6. Maintenance

  • Clean the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Regularly check the battery compartment and replace batteries as needed to prevent leakage.
  • Ensure the door seals are free from debris to maintain optimal security.

7. Troubleshooting
