2. Setup Instructions
- Placement: Position the Lunderg Alternating Air Pressure Pump on a stable, flat surface near the bed or recliner, or use the integrated hooks to hang it securely on the footboard or headboard. Ensure the pump is within reach of a power outlet.
- Connect Hoses: Connect the air hoses from your compatible Lunderg Alternating Air Pressure Mattress Pad or Recliner Pad to the pump's air outlets. The new quick-release connectors facilitate easy and secure attachment. Ensure connections are firm to prevent air leakage.
- Power Connection: Plug the pump's power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- Initial Inflation: Turn the pump ON using the power switch. The pad will begin to inflate. Allow approximately 20 minutes for the pad to fully inflate before use.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Power On/Off
To turn the pump ON, press the green 'ON' switch. To turn the pump OFF, press the 'OFF' switch.
3.2 Pressure Adjustment
The pump features an adjustable pressure dial, allowing you to customize the firmness of the air pad from 'Soft' to 'Firm'. Rotate the dial clockwise to increase firmness and counter-clockwise to decrease it. Adjust the pressure to a comfortable level for the user.
3.3 Static Mode
The pump includes a 'Static Mode' feature. When activated by pressing the 'Static ON' button, all air cells in the pad remain fully inflated. This provides a consistent, non-alternating surface, which can be beneficial for user comfort or during transfers. The static light will illuminate when this mode is active. To deactivate, press 'Static OFF'. The static mode has a maximum duration of 6 minutes.
3.4 Quiet Operation

5. Troubleshooting
- Pump not turning on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the pump and a functional electrical outlet. Check if the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Pad not inflating or losing pressure: Verify that all air hose connections between the pump and the pad are secure and free of kinks. Inspect the air pad for any visible punctures or leaks. Ensure the pressure adjust dial is not set to the lowest 'Soft' setting if more firmness is desired.
- Unusual noise from pump: While the pump is designed for quiet operation, any unusual or excessive noise may indicate an issue. Ensure the pump is placed on a stable surface and not vibrating against other objects. If the noise persists, contact customer support.
