  6. Continuous Steaming: The 1.7L water tank provides approximately one hour of continuous steaming.
  7. Power Off: Once steaming is complete, press the power button to turn off the appliance. Unplug the power cord from the outlet.
  8. Cool Down: Allow the appliance to cool down completely before emptying the water tank or storing.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your steam iron stand.

Cleaning the Water Tank:

  • After each use, ensure the appliance is unplugged and cooled.
  • Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water.
  • Rinse the tank with clean water. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
  • Allow the tank to air dry before reattaching or storing.

Descaling (Recommended Monthly):

To prevent mineral buildup, especially if using tap water (though distilled water is recommended), descaling is important:

  1. Mix a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water.
  2. Pour the solution into the water tank.
  3. Run the steamer until half of the solution has been used.
  4. Turn off and unplug the appliance, allowing it to sit for 30 minutes.
  5. Empty the remaining solution and rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water.
  6. Refill with clean water and run the steamer until the tank is empty to flush out any remaining vinegar.

Storage:

  • Ensure the appliance is completely cool and dry before storing.
  • Empty the water tank.
  • Collapse the adjustable pole for compact storage.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
