Setup and Assembly

The BIGFLY C29 Ultra electric bicycle is delivered 85% pre-assembled. Follow these steps for final assembly:

1. Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove the bicycle and all components from the packaging. Remove all protective materials. Inspect for any visible damage during transit.

2. Handlebar Installation

Attach the handlebar to the stem. Ensure proper alignment with the front wheel before tightening the screws securely.

3. Front Wheel Installation

Insert the front wheel into the fork dropouts, ensuring the brake rotor is correctly positioned within the caliper. Securely tighten the axle nuts.

4. Seat and Seat Post Adjustment

Insert the seat post into the frame and adjust the seat height to a comfortable riding position. Secure it using the quick-release clamp.

5. Pedal Installation

Attach the pedals to the crank arms. Note that the left pedal is tightened counter-clockwise and the right pedal is tightened clockwise. Ensure they are securely fastened.

6. Mudguard and Luggage Rack Installation

Install the front and rear mudguards and the luggage rack using the provided screws and brackets. Ensure they are stable and do not interfere with wheel rotation.

7. Battery Installation

Insert the 48V 15Ah lithium battery into its holder on the frame. Ensure it clicks securely into place and is locked with the key.

8. Headlight and Taillight Connection

Connect the headlight cable and adjust the headlight to the proper direction. Ensure the taillight is securely attached to the seat post.

9. Display and Throttle Setup

Ensure the LCD display and throttle are correctly positioned and connected. The display allows for monitoring speed, battery level, and pedal assist levels.

Operating Instructions

The BIGFLY C29 Ultra offers three distinct riding modes to suit various preferences and terrains:

• Pedal Assist Mode: Provides five levels of motor assistance while you pedal. This mode extends battery range and reduces effort.
• Full Electric Mode: Engages the motor via the throttle for propulsion without pedaling. Ideal for quick boosts or when you need a break from pedaling.
• Classic Bicycle Mode: The motor is disengaged, allowing you to ride the bicycle like a traditional bike, relying solely on pedal power.

Use the LCD display to monitor your speed, battery level, and current assist mode. The 21-speed gear system allows for smooth transitions across different gradients and speeds.

Maintenance

• Battery Care: Charge the battery regularly, especially after long rides. Avoid completely draining the battery. Store the battery in a cool, dry place.
