Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Womier SK65 Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
The Womier SK65 is a 65-key mechanical keyboard featuring a CNC aluminum case, gasket mount design, hot-swappable switches, RGB backlighting, and triple-mode connectivity (Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz wireless, and USB-C wired).
Gasket Mount Design
The SK65 incorporates a gasket mount structure with multi-layer sound-absorbing foam and a single-key slotting flex-cut PCB plate. This design allows for a more flexible typing experience, reduces typing fatigue, and enhances the acoustic profile of key presses by minimizing noise and improving sound resonance.

Connect the provided USB-C cable from the keyboard to your computer's USB port. The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging.
2.2. 2.4GHz Wireless Connection
- Plug the 2.4GHz USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Switch the keyboard to 2.4GHz mode. The keyboard should connect automatically.
2.3. Bluetooth 5.0 Connection

The knob located on the top right of the keyboard provides convenient multimedia control:
- Rotate clockwise: Increase volume.
- Rotate counter-clockwise: Decrease volume.
- Press the knob: Mute/unmute audio.

2. RGB Backlighting Control
The SK65 features customizable RGB backlighting. Use the following Fn key combinations to adjust the lighting effects:
- Fn + |: Switch between different lighting effects.

4. Power Management
To conserve battery life, the keyboard is designed with automatic power-saving features:
- Sleep Mode: If unused for a few minutes, the keyboard will enter sleep mode. It will wake up automatically upon key press.
- Hibernation Mode: If left unused for approximately 30 minutes, the keyboard will enter a deeper hibernation mode to further save power. It will also wake up upon key press.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
To clean your keyboard:
- Disconnect the keyboard from all power sources and devices.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the keycaps and case.
- For deeper cleaning, keycaps can be removed using the provided keycap puller.
- Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the keyboard.
2. Hot-Swapping Switches and Keycaps
The SK65 features hot-swappable sockets, allowing you to change switches without soldering. The included 2-in-1 keycap and switch puller simplifies this process.

2.1. Removing Keycaps
- Gently place the keycap puller over the desired keycap.
- Squeeze the puller until it grips the keycap firmly.
- Pull straight up to remove the keycap.
2.2. Removing Switches
- First, remove the keycap above the switch you wish to remove.
- Use the switch puller tool to grip the top and bottom clips of the switch.
- Apply gentle pressure and pull the switch straight up. Avoid wiggling to prevent bending the pins.
2.3. Installing Switches and Keycaps
- Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB. Ensure the switch is oriented correctly.
- Press the switch firmly until it clicks into place. Do not force it.
- Place the desired keycap onto the switch stem and press down gently until it is secure.
The keyboard comes with Womier custom linear switches, which are factory-lubed POM base switches designed for a smooth typing experience. The keycaps are thick PBT, double-shot molded for durability and resistance to oil and wear, featuring a comfortable Cherry profile.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Womier SK65 keyboard, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
1. Keyboard Not Responding / Random Key Spamming
- Check Connection: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected, or for wireless modes, verify the 2.4GHz receiver is plugged in or Bluetooth is paired correctly.
- Battery Level: A low battery can cause erratic behavior. Charge the keyboard fully.
- Mode Switch: Ensure the physical mode switch on the underside of the keyboard is set to the correct connection type (wired, 2.4G, BT).
- Restart Keyboard/Device: Turn off the keyboard, restart your computer/device, then turn the keyboard back on and attempt to reconnect.
- Driver/Software Issues: If using proprietary software, ensure it is up-to-date. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the software.
- Factory Reset: Consult the quick guide or official website for instructions on performing a factory reset, if available. This can resolve software-related glitches.
2. Spacebar or Other Keys Getting Stuck
- Inspect Keycap: Remove the keycap and check for any debris or foreign objects underneath that might be obstructing movement.
- Inspect Switch: With the keycap removed, gently press the switch stem to see if it moves freely. If not, the switch may be faulty and require replacement (utilizing the hot-swappable feature).
- Stabilizer Check: For larger keys like the spacebar, check the stabilizers for proper lubrication and alignment. Misaligned or dry stabilizers can cause sticking.
3. RGB Backlight Settings Not Saving
- Software Sync: Ensure the programming software is running and properly synced with the keyboard. Save your profiles within the software.
- Firmware Update: Check the official COSTOM website for any available firmware updates for the SK65, as these often address software and setting retention issues.
4. Wireless Connection Issues (Bluetooth/2.4GHz)
- Interference: Move the keyboard closer to the receiver/device. Avoid placing large metal objects or other wireless devices between the keyboard and receiver that could cause interference.
- Re-pair: For Bluetooth, unpair and re-pair the keyboard with your device. For 2.4GHz, try unplugging and replugging the receiver.
- USB Port: Try a different USB port for the 2.4GHz receiver or wired connection.
5. Fn Key Combinations Not Working as Expected
- OS Mode: Verify the keyboard is in the correct operating system mode (Windows or macOS) using Fn + A or Fn + S.
- Software Conflicts: If you have other keyboard-related software installed, it might conflict with the SK65's functions. Try disabling other software temporarily.
- Refer to Manual: Double-check the specific Fn key combinations in this manual or the quick guide.
