Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps for proper assembly of your SPECILITE Walk-in Tunnel Greenhouse. It is recommended to have at least two people for assembly, especially when installing the cover.

  1. Step 1: Install the Steel Pipe Frame. Assemble the galvanized steel pipes according to the provided diagrams. Ensure all connections are secure. The frame includes diagonal bars and cross bars for enhanced stability.
  2. Step 2: Cover the PE Trap. Carefully drape the thickened PE cover over the assembled steel frame. Ensure the cover is centered and aligned with the frame structure.
  3. Step 3: Fix with Ropes & Stone. Secure the greenhouse to the ground using the provided ropes and ground stakes. For additional stability, place heavy objects such as stones or sandbags on the extended edges of the PE cover at the base.

Frame Details and Stability

Operation Guidelines

Ventilation and Temperature Control

The greenhouse is equipped with 1 zippered roll-up door and 8 screen side windows to manage internal air circulation and temperature. These features are crucial for creating an optimal growing environment.

  • Screen Windows: Promote air circulation while preventing pest entry. Open windows to maintain internal ventilation.
  • Zippered Roll-up Door: Provides easy access and can be opened for additional ventilation or closed to retain warmth.

Maintenance

PE Cover Care

The greenhouse cover is crafted from thickened PE (Polyethylene) material, designed to be rainproof, snowproof, sun-resistant, and thermal insulated. To ensure its longevity and effectiveness:

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the PE cover with mild soap and water to remove dirt and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the material.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the cover for any signs of tears, punctures, or wear. Promptly repair any damage to maintain its protective properties.
  • Weather Protection: While the cover is robust, in extreme weather conditions (e.g., heavy snow, strong winds), consider reinforcing anchoring or temporarily removing the cover if feasible to prevent damage.

Frame Maintenance

Troubleshooting

  • Cover Damage (Tears/Punctures): Small tears in the PE cover can be repaired using specialized greenhouse repair tape. For larger damages, consider replacing the cover to maintain optimal protection.
