  • Unplug the device from the power source before cleaning or maintenance.

3. Setup and Installation

This device supports two primary wiring methods for integration into your electrical system. Choose the method that best suits your application.

Diagram showing two wiring methods for the power detector. The first method involves direct wire connections for N OUT, L OUT, N IN, and L IN. The second method shows a standard power inlet for a power cord.

Figure 2: Wiring methods for the Smart Power Detector Monitor. Ensure proper insulation for unused wiring methods.

Wiring Method 1 (Direct Wire Connection):

  1. Connect the N IN and L IN terminals to your AC power source (AC85~265V).
  2. Connect the N OUT and L OUT terminals to the electrical equipment you wish to monitor.
  3. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.

Wiring Method 2 (Standard Power Inlet):

  1. If using this method, ensure the direct wire terminals from Method 1 are properly sealed with electrical tape to prevent shock.
  2. Plug a compatible power cord into the device's standard power inlet.
  3. Connect the other end of the power cord to a suitable power outlet.

Important: If you do not use a specific wiring method, please seal the unused terminals with electrical tape to prevent electric shock.
