2. Safety Information
Always prioritize safety when operating power tools. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
General Safety Rules
- Work Area Safety: Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- Electrical Safety: Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not abuse the cord. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts.
- Personal Safety: Always wear eye protection. Use hearing protection when operating the saw. Wear appropriate clothing; avoid loose clothing or jewelry. Secure long hair.
- Tool Use and Care: Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.
- Double Safety Switch: The saw is equipped with a double safety switch mechanism. Both the power switch and the safety lock must be pressed simultaneously to start the machine. This design helps prevent accidental startup.

5.1 Powering On/Off
To start the saw, simultaneously press the safety lock button and the power switch. Release the power switch to turn off the saw.
5.2 Cutting Techniques
- General Cutting: Ensure the workpiece is securely clamped. Hold the saw firmly with both hands. Allow the blade to reach full speed before entering the material. Maintain a steady, controlled feed rate.
- Straight Cuts: Use the laser guide or rip fence for accurate straight cuts.
- Bevel Cuts: Adjust the bevel angle as described in Section 4.3. Be aware that the cutting depth will be reduced at an angle.

5.3 Material Compatibility
The saw is versatile and can cut various materials depending on the blade used:
- Wood: Use the TCT (Tungsten Carbide Tipped) blade.
- Soft Metal: Use the HSS (High-Speed Steel) blade.
- Tile/Plastic: Use the Diamond blade.

Image 5.2: Different blades are provided for cutting wood, soft metal, and tile/plastic.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your circular saw.
- Cleaning: After each use, unplug the saw and clean off dust and debris from the motor vents and blade guard. Use a soft brush or compressed air.
- Blade Inspection: Regularly inspect blades for sharpness, cracks, or missing teeth. Replace dull or damaged blades immediately.
- Cord Inspection: Check the power cord for any damage, cuts, or fraying. Do not use the saw if the cord is damaged.
- Storage: Store the saw and its accessories in the provided carrying bag in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children.
7. Troubleshooting
- Saw does not start: Ensure the saw is properly plugged into a functional power outlet. Verify that both the safety lock button and the power switch are pressed simultaneously. Check for any tripped circuit breakers.
- Blade not cutting efficiently: The blade may be dull or incorrect for the material. Replace the blade or ensure the appropriate blade type is installed. Check if the cutting depth is set correctly.
- Cuts are not straight: Ensure the workpiece is securely clamped. Verify that the laser guide is properly aligned (if applicable, some lasers may require calibration). Use the rip fence for consistent straight cuts.
- Excessive vibration or noise: This could indicate a loose blade, a damaged blade, or an internal issue. Immediately stop operation, unplug the saw, and inspect the blade and its mounting. If the issue persists, seek professional service.
