1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the G-Ocean Convection Space Heater, Model NDL200-B76R. This manual provides important information for the safe and efficient use of your new heater. Please read it thoroughly before installation and operation, and retain it for future reference.

This convection heater is designed to provide comfortable, even warmth for indoor spaces. It features multiple power settings, a thermostat, remote control, and various safety mechanisms to ensure reliable performance.

2. Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, observe the following:

• Read all instructions before using this heater.
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
• Always unplug heater when not in use.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard heater or return to authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
• Do not use outdoors.
• This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
• To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
• This heater includes a Tip-Over Protection feature that automatically shuts off the heater if it is accidentally tipped over.
• The heater is equipped with an Overheat Shutoff feature to prevent overheating. If the heater reaches an unsafe temperature, it will automatically turn off.
• A Child Lock function is available to prevent unintended operation by children.

5. Setup and Installation

The G-Ocean Convection Space Heater offers two installation options: portable standing or wall-mounted.

5.1 Portable Standing Installation

1. Carefully unpack all components from the box.
2. Attach the standing base with wheels to the bottom of the heater using the provided screws. Ensure the base is securely fastened.
3. Place the heater on a firm, level surface, ensuring it is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from any walls, furniture, or combustible materials.
4. Ensure the power cord is not obstructed and is placed where it will not be tripped over.

5.2 Wall-Mount Installation

1. Select a suitable wall location, ensuring it is away from curtains, furniture, and other combustible materials. Maintain a minimum distance of 3 feet (0.9 m) from any obstructions.
2. Using the wall mounting kit, mark the drilling points on the wall according to the heater's mounting holes.
3. Drill holes and insert wall anchors if necessary.
4. Secure the mounting brackets to the wall.
5. Carefully hang the heater onto the wall mounting brackets, ensuring it is securely seated.
6. Verify that the heater is level and stable.

6. Operating Instructions

The heater can be operated using the LED touch panel on the unit or the included remote control.

6.1 Power On/Off

• Plug the heater directly into a 120V AC wall outlet. Do not use extension cords.
• Press the Power button on the control panel or remote control to turn the heater ON or OFF.

6.2 Setting Temperature

• Once powered on, use the Temperature Up (+) or Temperature Down (-) buttons on the control panel or remote to set your desired room temperature.
• The temperature can be set between 60°F and 90°F, typically in 5-degree increments.
• The heater will automatically adjust its heating output to maintain the set temperature.

6.3 Adjusting Power Levels

• Press the Mode/Heat Level button (often indicated by a fan or wave icon) to cycle through the available power settings: 500W (Low), 1000W (Medium), and 1500W (High).
• Select the appropriate power level based on the desired heating speed and room size.

6.4 Timer Function

• Press the Timer button on the control panel or remote control.
• Each press will increase the timer setting by one hour, up to a maximum of 12 hours.
• The heater will automatically turn off after the set time has elapsed.

6.5 Child Lock

• To activate the Child Lock, press and hold the Child Lock button (usually indicated by a lock icon) on the control panel or remote for a few seconds.
• The control panel will become unresponsive to prevent accidental changes.
• To deactivate, repeat the process.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater.

• Cleaning: Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Dust Removal: Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust from the air intake and exhaust vents. Ensure vents are clear of obstructions.
• Storage: If storing the heater for an extended period, unplug it, clean it thoroughly, and store it in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to cover the heater to protect it from dust.
• Cord Care: Regularly inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. Do not use the heater if the cord is damaged.
