Setup

1. Charging the Headset

Before first use, fully charge your headset. Connect the provided charging cable to the charging port on the headset and a compatible USB power source. The headset has a built-in 250mAh lithium battery, providing approximately 15 hours of use on a full charge. Charging time is approximately 2 hours.

2. Wearing the Headset

Place the headset around the back of your head, with the transducers resting on your cheekbones, just in front of your ears. The open-ear design ensures comfort and allows you to remain aware of your surroundings. The headset is lightweight (29g) for extended wear.

3. Initial Bluetooth Pairing

When powered on, the headset will automatically enter Bluetooth mode. On your mobile device, search for "BoneHearing S1" in the Bluetooth menu and select it to connect. A voice prompt will confirm successful connection.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

• Power On: Press the multi-function button for 3 seconds.
• Power Off: Press the multi-function button for 5 seconds.

2. Switching Between Bluetooth and Hearing Modes

The headset features a smart auto-switch function:

• The headset defaults to hearing mode.
• When the headset detects sounds or operations from your mobile phone, it automatically switches to Bluetooth mode.
• If there are no sounds or operations from your mobile phone for approximately 3-5 seconds, it automatically switches back to hearing mode.

3. Volume Adjustment

• In Bluetooth Mode: Adjust volume directly on your mobile phone.
• In Hearing Mode: Use the '+' and '–' buttons on the headset to adjust the volume.

4. Noise Reduction Settings

While in hearing mode, press the '–' button for 2 seconds to switch between Strong noise reduction and Weak noise reduction to suit your environment.

5. Call Management (Bluetooth Mode)

• Answer/End Call: Click the '+' button.
• Reject Call: Long press the '+' button for 2 seconds.

6. Language Setting

If the prompt voice is in Chinese, follow these steps to change it to English:

1. Press the '+' and '–' buttons at the same time to enter the language setting.
2. Short press the '+' button to select English.
3. Long press the '+' button to confirm the language setting.
