Troubleshooting
Here are some common issues and their potential solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause / Solution |
|---|---|
| Bread does not rise or rises too much. | Incorrect yeast amount, expired yeast, water temperature too hot/cold, incorrect flour type, or incorrect ingredient measurements. Ensure yeast is fresh and water is at the recommended temperature. |
| Bread is too dense or heavy. | Too much flour, not enough liquid, or insufficient kneading. Ensure accurate measurements. |
| Bread sticks to the pan. | Pan not properly greased (though non-stick, some recipes benefit from light greasing), or pan coating is damaged. Ensure pan is clean and undamaged. |
| Machine does not start or respond. | Check if the power cord is securely plugged in. If you made a mistake in settings and need to reset, unplug the machine for at least 30 minutes. The "START/STOP" button held for 3 seconds should also cancel a program. |
| Loud noise during operation. | Ensure the baking pan is securely seated. The machine is designed for quiet operation (below 60dB). |
