Installation Guide
Professional installation is recommended. Ensure the vehicle's power is disconnected before beginning installation.
1. Pre-installation Check
- Confirm compatibility with your vehicle model and year.
- Gather necessary tools (e.g., screwdrivers, trim removal tools).
- Disconnect the negative terminal of the car battery.
2. Removing the Original Radio
- Carefully remove the dashboard trim panels to access the original radio.
- Unscrew and detach the original radio unit.
- Disconnect all wiring harnesses from the original radio.

3. Wiring Connections
- Connect the provided power cable harness to the car's wiring.
- Connect the radio antenna and GPS antenna. Position the GPS antenna in a location with a clear view of the sky.
- For the AHD Backup Camera: Connect the camera's video output to the "CAM IN" port on the stereo. Connect the camera's power wire (red) to the vehicle's reverse light power and the ground wire (black) to a chassis ground. The pink reverse trigger wire from the stereo harness should be connected to the reverse light signal wire of the vehicle.
- Connect any additional accessories such as USB cables, external microphone, or RCA cables as needed.

4. Mounting the New Stereo
- Secure the new GOHHDL car stereo into the dashboard opening.
- Reinstall the dashboard trim panels.
5. Initial Power-Up
- Reconnect the car battery's negative terminal.
- Turn on the vehicle ignition and power on the stereo.
- Perform a basic function test (radio, touch screen, sound).
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
Press and hold the power button (usually located on the front panel or a soft button on the screen) to turn the unit on or off. A short press typically mutes the audio or puts the unit into standby mode.
2. Touchscreen Interface
The 9-inch touchscreen allows for intuitive control. Swipe left/right to navigate between home screens, tap icons to open applications, and use pinch-to-zoom gestures where supported (e.g., in maps).
3. Wireless Carplay & Android Auto
Connect your iPhone or Android smartphone wirelessly via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi hotspot to access Carplay or Android Auto. This allows for safe use of navigation, music, calls, and messaging apps directly on the stereo screen.
- Connection: Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone. On the stereo, go to the Carplay/Android Auto app and follow the on-screen prompts to pair your device.
- Mirror Link: For devices not supporting Carplay or Android Auto, Mirror Link allows mirroring your phone's screen to the stereo.

4. GPS Navigation
The unit features a built-in GPS module. You can use pre-installed navigation apps or download others from the Google Play Store. Both online and offline maps are supported.
- Online Navigation: Requires a Wi-Fi connection (via hotspot from your phone or a dedicated Wi-Fi source) for real-time traffic updates and map downloads.
- Offline Navigation: Download map data for your region to use navigation without an internet connection.

5. Bluetooth Connectivity
Pair your smartphone via Bluetooth for hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming.
- Pairing: Go to the Bluetooth settings on the stereo, enable Bluetooth, and search for your phone. Select your phone from the list and confirm the pairing code.
- Hands-Free Calling: Once paired, you can make and receive calls directly from the stereo screen. Your phone's contact list can be synchronized.
- Music Streaming: Play audio from your phone through the car's speakers.

6. FM/RDS Radio

10. Reversing Camera Display
When the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear, the stereo will automatically display the feed from the connected AHD backup camera, providing a wide-angle view to assist with parking and maneuvering.
- Ensure the backup camera is correctly installed and wired as per the installation guide.
- The camera features night vision for clear visibility in low-light conditions.
11. UI Themes
The system offers multiple UI (User Interface) themes and wallpaper options to personalize the look of your stereo's interface.
- Navigate to the display or theme settings to browse and apply different themes.

- Screen Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the touchscreen. For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals.

- General Care: Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or excessive moisture.
