5.1 Battery Installation

To power your motion sensor trash can, you will need to install batteries in the lid unit.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the motion sensor lid.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 2 AA batteries, ensuring that the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the indicators inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2 Inserting the Trash Bag

Follow these steps to properly install a trash bag and maintain the clean aesthetic of your trash can:

  1. Place a standard trash bag into the removable inner liner bucket.
  2. Fold the edges of the trash bag over the rim of the inner liner bucket to secure it.
  3. Carefully lower the inner liner bucket, with the trash bag inside, into the main body of the trash can.
  4. Place the motion sensor lid on top of the trash can, ensuring it is properly aligned and seated. The lid will conceal the trash bag for a neat appearance.
