2. Safety Instructions
WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in serious injury or death. Read and understand all instructions before operating the lift.
- Only qualified personnel should install, operate, and maintain this equipment.
- Ensure the installation site has a concrete strength of at least 3000 PSI (2.1 KG/mm²) and is level.
- Always inspect the lift for damage or wear before each use. Do not operate if any components are damaged.
- Ensure the vehicle is properly centered and balanced on the lift arms before raising.
- Always engage the safety locks before working under the vehicle. Never work under a vehicle supported only by the hydraulic system.
- Keep hands, feet, and clothing clear of moving parts.
- Do not exceed the maximum rated lifting capacity of 7000 lbs.
- Ensure adequate clearance around the lift and vehicle during operation.
- Disconnect power before performing any maintenance or repairs.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and gloves.
3. Components and Parts
The AUTOKATO PMRL-200 lift comes with the following main components:

4. Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the safe and reliable operation of your lift. It is recommended that installation be performed by trained professionals.
4.1 Site Requirements
- Concrete Foundation: The concrete floor must be a minimum of 4 inches thick and have a strength of at least 3000 PSI (2.1 KG/mm²). Ensure the concrete is fully cured before installation.
- Level Surface: The installation area must be level to ensure proper lift operation and stability.
- Clearance: Ensure sufficient overhead clearance for the maximum lifting height and adequate space around the lift for vehicle access and maintenance.
4.2 Column Installation
For base frame and cross beam two-post lifts, first install the extension column with the main column. Align the base plate of the column with your chalk line layout. Guided by holes on the base plate of the column, use 5 concrete anchor bolts to fix it onto the ground. Drill and install anchor bolts one at a time. During the drilling process, ensure no movement of the column.

4.3 Assembly of Arms and Power Unit
Attach the lift arms to the carriages on each column. Connect the hydraulic power unit to the designated column and route the hydraulic lines according to the provided diagram (not shown in this manual, refer to full installation guide). Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Preparing the Vehicle
- Position the vehicle between the lift columns.
- Adjust the lift arms to contact the vehicle's designated lifting points. Use the screw-on pads and extension adaptors as needed to ensure secure contact.
- Ensure the vehicle is centered and stable on the pads.
5.2 Lifting the Vehicle
- Activate the power unit to begin raising the lift.
- Raise the vehicle slowly, observing its stability. If the vehicle shifts, lower it immediately and re-position.
- Once the desired height is reached, lower the lift slightly until the safety locks engage. This is crucial for safety. The PMRL-200 features a single point lock release for convenience.
- Before working under the vehicle, gently shake the vehicle to confirm it is securely resting on the safety locks.

5.3 Lowering the Vehicle
- Ensure the area around and under the vehicle is clear of personnel and obstructions.
- Slightly raise the lift to disengage the safety locks.
- Activate the lowering mechanism (typically a release lever on the power unit) to slowly lower the vehicle.
- Once the vehicle is fully on the ground, retract the lift arms.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance is essential to ensure the longevity and safe operation of your AUTOKATO PMRL-200 lift.
- Daily/Before Use:
- Inspect all cables, chains, and hydraulic hoses for wear, fraying, or leaks.
- Check for any loose bolts or fasteners.
- Ensure safety locks engage and disengage properly.
- Monthly:
- Check hydraulic fluid level and top up if necessary. Use only recommended hydraulic fluid.
- Lubricate all pivot points, rollers, and sliding surfaces with appropriate grease.
- Inspect anchor bolts for tightness.
- Annually:
- Perform a thorough inspection of all structural components for signs of fatigue or damage.
- Consider professional inspection and service.
Always disconnect power to the lift before performing any maintenance or inspection.
