2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup
Follow these steps for initial setup before first use:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and place the coffee maker on a stable, flat surface.
- Cleaning: Wash the water tank, drip tray, and used capsule container with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Fill Water Tank: Fill the water tank with fresh, cold drinking water up to the MAX level indicator. Place the tank back onto the machine securely.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- First Rinse Cycle: Before brewing coffee, perform a rinse cycle without a capsule.
- Place an empty cup under the coffee spout.
- Press any coffee volume button (e.g., big cup button) to start the rinse.
- Allow the machine to run until the water tank is empty or the cycle completes. This primes the pump and cleans internal components.
- Repeat if desired.
5. Operating Instructions
Your S1201 coffee maker is designed for simple, automatic operation.

- Power On: Ensure the water tank is filled and the machine is plugged in. Press the power button (if available, otherwise the machine may power on automatically when plugged in or by pressing a coffee button). The indicator light will illuminate.
- Insert Capsule: Lift the capsule insertion handle. Place a coffee capsule into the capsule chamber. Close the handle firmly.
- Place Cup: Place your desired cup under the coffee spout. Adjust the drip tray height if necessary.
- Select Coffee Volume:
- Press the Small Cup button for approximately 40ml of coffee.
- Press the Big Cup button for approximately 110ml of coffee.
The machine will begin brewing. The 19BAR pump ensures optimal extraction for rich espresso.
- Brewing Complete: The machine will automatically stop once the selected volume is dispensed.
- Remove Used Capsule: Lift the capsule insertion handle again. The used capsule will automatically drop into the used capsule container. Close the handle.
- Automatic Shutdown: The machine will automatically shut down after 10 minutes of inactivity to save energy.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your coffee maker.
- Daily Cleaning:
- Empty and rinse the drip tray and used capsule container after each use or daily.
- Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth.
- Empty and rinse the water tank. Refill with fresh water.
- Descaling: Depending on water hardness, descaling should be performed every 2-3 months. Refer to a suitable descaling solution's instructions for use with coffee machines.
- Do Not Immerse: Never immerse the main body of the coffee maker in water or any other liquid.
