4. Setup

Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your wood chipper for operation:

  1. Assemble the Stand: Attach the support stand legs to the main unit using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure.
  2. Attach the Wheels: Secure the wheels to the stand. The wheels provide mobility for easy transport around your yard.
  3. Install the Collection Bag: Hook the 50L collection bag onto the designated clips beneath the discharge chute. Ensure it is securely attached to prevent debris from scattering.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable outdoor-rated extension cord, then into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the connection is secure and protected from moisture.
  5. Secure the Hopper: Close and secure the hopper with the safety locking knob. The machine will not operate if the hopper is not properly locked.

5. Operating Instructions

Before operating, ensure all safety precautions are followed and the unit is properly assembled.

  1. Pre-Operation Check: Verify that the collection bag is securely attached, the hopper is locked, and there are no loose parts or obstructions.
  2. Start the Chipper: Press the ON button to start the motor. Allow the motor to reach full speed before feeding material.
  3. Feed Material: Slowly feed branches, twigs, and leaves into the hopper. Ensure the material is dry and free of dirt or stones.
  4. Use the Pusher: For safety and efficiency, always use the provided pusher to guide material into the cutting chamber. Never use your hands or feet.

  6. Empty Collection Bag: When the collection bag is full, turn off the chipper, disconnect power, and carefully remove and empty the bag.
  7. Shut Down: After use, turn off the chipper and disconnect it from the power supply.
