Setup

1. Unboxing and Components

Verify that all components are present before beginning installation:

2. Door Compatibility Check

Ensure your door meets the following specifications for proper installation:

• Door Thickness: 1-3/8" to 2" (35mm to 50mm)
• Cross Bore: 1-1/2" or 2-1/8" (38mm or 54mm)
• Backset: 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" (60mm or 70mm)
• Handle Cross Bore: 1-1/2" or 2-1/8"

The lock is compatible with most doors that have a rectangular latch faceplate cutout. It is not compatible with round faceplate cutouts, mortise, integrated, or rim cylinder lock types.

4. App Setup and Pairing

To connect your smart lock to the Philips Home Access app:

1. Download the Philips Home Access app from your device's app store.
2. Register and log in to the app.
3. Bring your phone close to the lock.
4. Enable Location and Bluetooth on your phone.
5. Scan the QR code located on the battery cover of the interior assembly.
6. Follow the in-app instructions to complete the setup and Wi-Fi connection.

Wi-Fi Connection Tips:

• Ensure your Wi-Fi connection is stable.
• The lock only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks.
• Keep the router and lock within 65ft (20m) and avoid walls or interference sources like microwaves.
• Too many devices connected to your Wi-Fi may affect the lock's connection.
• Ensure the lock's firmware and app are up-to-date.

5. PIN Code and Fingerprint Setup

You can add permanent, recurring, duration-based, or one-time PIN codes, and register up to 20 fingerprints for quick access.

1. Unlocking Methods

Your Philips Smart Lock offers multiple ways to unlock:

• Fingerprint: Place a registered finger on the sensor for instant access (0.3 seconds).
• Passcode: Enter a 4-10 digit code on the keypad.
• Mechanical Key: Use one of the two provided physical keys for backup access.
• App Control: Use the Philips Home Access app to remotely unlock the door.
• Voice Control: Use Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant with a voice command (requires prior setup).

The lock can be secured in several ways:
