5. Operation

6. Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and performance of your spray gun.
- Immediate Cleaning: After each use, immediately empty any remaining paint from the cup.
- Flush with Solvent: Fill the paint cup with an appropriate cleaning solvent (e.g., paint thinner for oil-based paints, water for water-based paints). Spray the solvent through the gun until it runs clear.
- Disassembly and Thorough Cleaning:
- Disconnect the air supply.
- Remove the air cap, fluid nozzle, and needle.
- Clean these components thoroughly using a cleaning brush and the appropriate solvent. Pay close attention to all small holes and passages.
