Operation
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button (U) to turn the gauge on or off.
- Unit Switching: Press the UNIT button to cycle through the available pressure units: Pa, mBar, mmHg, and Micron.
- Setting Alarm: Press the SET button to enter the alarm setting mode. Use the up/down arrows (often integrated with other buttons or implied by repeated presses) to adjust the desired vacuum level for the alarm. Once the preset level is reached during evacuation, the device will provide an audible and visual alert.
- Calibration: The gauge supports one-key calibration. In an open-air environment (atmospheric pressure), press and hold the SAVE CAL button to initiate calibration. The display will show "CAL" during the process. Ensure the sensor is clean and dry before calibration.
- Connecting to System: Connect the gauge (with adapter) to the vacuum pump or system port. Begin the evacuation process. Monitor the digital display for real-time vacuum readings.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Sensor Care: Keep the Pirani sensor clean and free from oil or debris. Avoid direct contact with the sensor.
- Storage: Store the gauge in its provided carrying case in a cool, dry place when not in use. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
Troubleshooting
- No Display/Power: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Inaccurate Readings: Perform a calibration in an open-air environment. Ensure all connections are tight and there are no leaks in the system being tested. Check the sensor for contamination.
- Alarm Not Activating: Verify that the alarm set point is correctly configured and that the vacuum level has reached or surpassed the set threshold.
