Setup & Installation
Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance. Follow these steps carefully:
1. Exhaust Hose Assembly:
- Stretch the exhaust hose to its full length.
- Connect the hose connector to one end of the exhaust hose by twisting it clockwise until secure.
- Rotate the vent hose into the exhaust nozzle counterclockwise until secure.
- Attach the assembled hose connector to the exhaust air outlet on the back of the AC unit by twisting it clockwise.
Video: This video demonstrates the step-by-step process of assembling the exhaust hose and connecting it to the portable air conditioner unit and window kit.
2. Window Kit Installation:
- Adjust the window sealing plate to fit your window opening. Secure it in place.
- Insert the exhaust hose adapter (with the hose attached) into the opening of the window kit. Ensure it is firmly seated to prevent air leakage.
- Ensure the exhaust hose is not kinked or bent sharply, as this can restrict airflow and reduce efficiency.

3. Drainage Setup:
The unit features self-evaporative technology, which typically eliminates the need for manual drainage in most environments. However, in high humidity conditions, the internal water tank may fill up. If this occurs, the unit will stop operating and display an error code (e.g., "FL" for Full Water). To drain:
- Turn off the unit and unplug it.
- Locate the drainage port at the bottom rear of the unit.
- Place a shallow pan or tray under the drainage port.
- Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
- Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.
- For continuous drainage, attach the provided drainage pipe to the drainage port and direct it to a suitable drain.
