Important Safety Instructions

Setup and First Use
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials from the coffee pot and its base.
- Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the exterior of the coffee pot with a damp cloth. Wash the interior of the pot with warm, soapy water, then rinse thoroughly. Do not immerse the power base in water.
- Placement: Place the power base on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in contact with hot surfaces.
- Initial Rinse: Fill the pot with clean water up to the maximum fill line. Place it on the power base and plug the unit into a suitable electrical outlet. Press the power switch to turn it on and allow the water to boil. Discard this water. This process cleans the interior and removes any manufacturing residues.
Operating Instructions
Making Turkish Coffee
- Add Water: Fill the coffee pot with cold water. For each cup of coffee, use approximately 70-80 ml of water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line (500 ml).
- Add Coffee and Sugar: For each cup, add one heaped teaspoon of finely ground Turkish coffee. Add sugar to taste, if desired. Stir gently to combine.
- Place on Base: Place the coffee pot securely onto its 360-degree rotatable power base.
- Start Brewing: Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet. Press the power switch (usually illuminated red) to turn on the appliance.
- Monitor Brewing: The coffee will begin to heat. As it approaches boiling, a foam will rise to the surface. Do not allow the coffee to boil over.
- Serve: Just before the coffee boils over, remove the pot from the base. Pour the foamy coffee directly into small Turkish coffee cups.
- Turn Off: After serving, press the power switch to turn off the appliance and unplug it from the outlet.

Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Wash the interior of the coffee pot with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the coffee pot and the power base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the power base in water or any other liquid.
- Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits may accumulate inside the pot. To descale, fill the pot with a mixture of water and white vinegar (1:1 ratio) or a commercial descaling solution. Bring to a boil, then let it sit for 30 minutes before discarding the solution and rinsing thoroughly.
- Storage: Ensure the appliance is clean and dry before storing. The foldable handle allows for compact storage. Store in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting
