5. Installation
5.1 Battery Installation

5.2 Connecting the Timer
- Ensure your water source (faucet, rain barrel) is turned off.
- Thread the brass inlet of the timer onto your outdoor faucet or rain barrel outlet. Hand-tighten firmly to prevent leaks. Do not overtighten.
- Connect your garden hose or irrigation system to the brass outlet of the timer. Hand-tighten firmly.
- Slowly turn on your water source. Check for any leaks at the connections. If leaks occur, tighten connections further or use plumber's tape if necessary.

6. Programming the Timer
The control dial allows you to navigate through the programming steps. Use the + and - buttons to adjust values and OK to confirm.
6.1 Set Clock
- Turn the dial to SET CLOCK.
- Use + and - to set the current time (AM/PM).
- Press OK to confirm.
6.2 Start Time
- Turn the dial to START TIME.
- Use + and - to set the desired start time for watering (AM/PM).
- Press OK to confirm.
6.3 How Long (Watering Duration)
- Turn the dial to HOW LONG.
- Use + and - to set the watering duration from 1 to 240 minutes.
- Press OK to confirm.
6.4 How Often (Watering Frequency)
- Turn the dial to HOW OFTEN.
- Use + and - to select the watering frequency:
- Every 1-12 hours
- Every 1-7 days
- Press OK to confirm.

7. Operation Modes
7.1 Automatic Watering (AUTO)
After setting your desired program (Clock, Start Time, How Long, How Often), turn the dial to AUTO. The timer will now operate according to your programmed schedule. The display will show the current time and the next scheduled watering time.
7.2 Manual Watering
Manual watering allows you to water immediately without affecting your programmed schedule. This is useful for quick tasks or additional watering needs.
- Ensure the dial is set to AUTO.
- Press the Manual button.
- Use + and - to set the desired manual watering duration (e.g., 10 minutes).
- Press OK to start manual watering. The display will show the remaining time.
- To cancel manual watering, turn the dial to OFF and then back to AUTO.

7.3 Rain Delay
The rain delay function pauses your watering schedule for a set period, preventing overwatering during rainy weather and conserving water.
- Ensure the dial is set to AUTO.
- Long press the Delay button (for approximately 3 seconds).
- Use + and - to select a delay duration of 24, 48, or 72 hours.
- Press OK to confirm. The display will show the remaining delay time.
- The timer will resume its programmed schedule automatically after the delay period ends.

7.4 Turning Off the Timer
To completely stop all watering (automatic and manual), turn the dial to OFF.

8.1 Battery Replacement
When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries promptly to avoid interruption of your watering schedule. Refer to section 5.1 for battery installation instructions.
8.2 Cleaning
