Setup
1. Attaching the Lens
Align the red index mark on the RF-S 14-30mm lens with the red index mark on the camera body. Rotate the lens clockwise until it clicks into place. Ensure the lens is securely mounted before use.

2. Inserting the Battery and Memory Card
Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera. Insert the battery with the contacts facing inward until it locks into place. Close the cover. Open the memory card slot cover, insert a compatible SD card (e.g., SanDisk 128GB Extreme PRO SD Memory Card) until it clicks, and close the cover.
3. Setting up Wireless Lavalier Microphones
Connect the receiver of the wireless microphone system to the camera's microphone input jack (typically located on the side of the camera). Power on both the transmitter (with the lavalier microphone attached) and the receiver. Ensure they are paired according to the microphone system's specific instructions. Operating the Camera
1. Power On/Off
Use the ON/OFF switch located on the top right of the camera body to power the camera on or off.

2. Selecting Shooting Modes
Rotate the mode dial on the top of the camera to select your desired shooting mode. Available modes include: A+ (Scene Intelligent Auto), S&F (Special Scene), SCN (Scene), C1, C2, C3 (Custom modes), and more.
3. Recording Video
Press the dedicated red record button on the front of the camera to start and stop video recording. The camera supports UHD 4K60p (cropped) and 4K30 (6K oversampled) video. Utilize the Vari-Angle Touchscreen for flexible framing during video capture.
4. Using the Vari-Angle Touchscreen
The 3.0-inch 1.04m-Dot Vari-Angle Touchscreen can be rotated and tilted for various shooting angles, including front-facing for vlogging. Use the touchscreen for menu navigation, focus point selection, and playback.

5. Wi-Fi & Bluetooth Connectivity
Access the camera's menu to enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. These features allow for remote control via a smartphone app, image transfer, and connection to other compatible devices.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Camera and Lens
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a lens brush to remove dust, followed by a lens cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth. Avoid touching the lens elements directly with your fingers. Do not use harsh chemicals.
2. Storage
When not in use, store the camera and lens in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use lens caps and a body cap to protect the sensor and lens elements from dust and scratches. Consider using a camera gadget bag for protection during transport.
Troubleshooting
Camera Does Not Power On
- Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted.
- Check that the battery compartment cover is securely closed.
Images Are Blurry
- Verify that the lens is properly attached and locked.
- Check focus settings (autofocus or manual focus).
- Ensure sufficient lighting for the scene.
- Clean the lens elements if smudges are present.
No Audio from Wireless Microphones
- Confirm the microphone receiver is securely connected to the camera's microphone input.

Memory Card Error
- Reinsert the memory card.
