4. Setup

4.1 Power Supply

The camera offers flexible power options for extended use. It supports solar charging, rechargeable batteries, or standard AA batteries.

  1. Initial Battery Charge: Upon receiving the camera, fully charge the included 18650 lithium battery using the provided battery charger before first use. Long-distance transportation may partially discharge the battery.
  2. Solar Charging: The integrated solar panel provides continuous charging when exposed to sunlight, extending battery life.
  3. AA Batteries (Optional): For additional power or in low-light conditions, insert 4 AA batteries (not included) into the designated compartment. Ensure correct polarity.

4.2 Inserting the Memory Card

The camera comes with a 32GB memory card. Insert it into the SD card slot with the metal contacts facing down. Ensure it clicks into place.

4.3 Mounting the Camera

Use the included mounting strap to secure the camera to a tree or pole. Position the camera to capture the desired area, ensuring the PIR sensor has a clear line of sight to the target zone.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

The camera is designed for simple operation. Once powered on and a memory card is inserted, it will automatically enter monitoring mode.

5.3 Custom Settings

While the camera does not have an integrated screen, settings can be customized via a computer. Connect the camera to your computer using the USB cable or insert the SD card into a card reader connected to your computer. Follow the on-screen prompts or refer to the included software (if applicable) to adjust settings such as:

  • Time-lapse mode
  • Custom capture settings (e.g., photo + video, photo only, video only)
  • Flexible video length
  • Date and time stamp

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the camera lens and solar panel regularly with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear images and efficient charging.
  • Clean the camera body with a damp cloth if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

7. Troubleshooting
