  • Adult supervision is required during assembly and use, especially for juniors and teens.

3. Package Contents

Before beginning assembly, verify that all components are present and undamaged. Refer to the detailed parts list included in your product packaging for specific quantities and identification. Typical components include:

  • Metal frame components (legs, side rails, bed base slats)
  • Wood-grain panels for bed frame and stairs
  • Staircase components with integrated shelving
  • Two non-woven fabric drawers
  • Hardware pack (screws, bolts, washers, Allen wrench)
  • Anti-tipping device

4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly typically requires two adults. Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the separate assembly guide included with your product. General tips for assembly:

  1. Unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
  2. Identify each part using the labels and the parts list in the manual.
  3. Do not fully tighten any bolts until all components for a section are loosely assembled. This allows for minor adjustments and ensures proper alignment.
  4. Ensure the correct orientation of each piece as indicated in the diagrams to avoid reassembly.
  5. Once all sections are assembled, systematically tighten all bolts securely.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and safety of your loft bed, regular maintenance is recommended:

  • Hardware Check: Periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) check all bolts, screws, and connections. Tighten any that have become loose.
  • Cleaning Metal Parts: Wipe metal surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
  • Cleaning Wood-Grain Panels: Use a soft, dry cloth to dust the wood-grain panels. For spills, wipe immediately with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  • Fabric Drawers: The non-woven fabric drawers can be spot cleaned with a mild detergent and water. Allow to air dry completely.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your loft bed, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Bed Wobbles: Ensure all bolts and screws are securely tightened. Verify that the anti-tipping device is properly installed and anchored to the wall.
  • Parts Not Fitting: Double-check the orientation of the parts against the assembly diagrams. Sometimes, a piece may appear similar but has a specific direction. Loosen surrounding bolts slightly to adjust alignment, then retighten.
  • Missing or Damaged Parts: If you find any parts missing or damaged upon opening the package, please contact SogesSleep customer support immediately for assistance.
